List of James A. Bernheisel's Reviews
Dr Bernheisel has been my doctor of choice for many years ( there were choices of doctor at this practice at one time ) . He's smart, pleasant, straightforward.
their office has become affiliated with Penn State Health, their name is Prospect and have moved to the Prospect Center at 3985 Columbia Ave. Their phone number is still 717 285-3144.
The services are great and the doctors as well, but I always feel like I'm bothering the staff. Their phone system goes offline earlier than posted and comes on later than posted quite regularly. They do not value my time as a patient and that is infuriating. I continue being a patient because my relationship with Stacy Spence is greater than the negative administrative items that irk me. I don't usually review things online, but I feel that the issues at this practice could be easily addressed.
Between him and my surgeon he helped save my life. Never gave up on helping me find cure and reason for metal poisoning
One of the best Doctors Around ! Always has time to listen you. Never in a rush to get you out the door.
I was so disappointed. I waited 15 mins. just to tell the receptionist who I was, she was busy talking to a patient about her bill. Someone should have taken her aside and discussed it privately. Everything was down hill from there, to this day I do not know the full results from my tests and I do have a serious problem. The doctor never called I spoke to 6 nurses trying to get my results and to talk to the doctor with no results. I found a new doctor, one that cares and follows up.
HE IS THE WORST

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
