When I was pregnant in spring 2018 she did a membrane sweep without my consent. At that appointment she was heavily pressuring me to induce, when I wasn’t even due yet. Then a week later at my next appointment she forced me to have another membrane sweep, under the guise of checking my dilation. While she was up there my water broke. I highly suspect she broke my water on purpose because I refused to induce. I was due on a Friday, and I suspect she didn’t want to be called in on a weekend. Luckily she was stuck in a csectuon while I delivered, and another doctor who was amazing delivered my baby. AVOID her if you’re pregnant. This happened in Lancaster, PA.

If I could give a 0 star I would.. I was 15 years old 12 years ago and I got pregnant well my daughter had something called Anecephaly.. Well when I delivered her they made me go in a basement for delivery in some type of lab, to hide me and the baby from other people.. Dr Kate Abello told me years ago I would have no problems conceiving again in the future here it is 12 years later and I do research and it surely shows that it can possibly affect me... And has been... I just dont understand why me and my baby was treated so poorly when I had her there... My whole life was turned into a nightmare due to the way I was treated and my baby was treated I remember everything down to being stuck in a hospital room in the basement with no phone and given morphine when I was going through contractions so that they could try and make my delivery go slower which it did and I remember my babys foot hanging outside of me for hours while they told me I had to wait because Dr Kate Abello wasnt there and ready to deliver... its a shame how yall treated me and I hope you all remember me and my baby and how yall treated us.. Sorry I let this go for 11 going on 12 years I think its time I let this out.. This hospital treated me poorly due to my age and my babys medical condition if I knew then what I knew now things would have been alot differently... I don't blame yall for the way my baby was I blame yall for the emotional scarring yall did to me and how yall treated my daughter Jasmine like she was some type of out of the world creature when she was a baby... I just want to let people know what I went through so they never have to experience the pain and suffering I had to endure...

I've seen Dr. Abello several times. She is always quietly polite, informative and knowledgeable about any of my concerns. She is a fantastic doctor.

I recently saw Dr. Abello in her PA office and was very pleased with her care. Although there wasn't an easy and immediate solution to my problem, I felt she tried extremely hard to help me out in some way. She even left the room to consult with a colleague to confirm that she had considered every possibility.

I recently saw Dr. Abello at her Lancaster PA office and was very pleased with her service. She was very professional and thorough. I felt she exhausted every possible solution to my situation, which presented a few limitations to begin with. I would highly recommend her!

I would not recommend Dr. Abello, she wasn't friendly or personable during the delivery of my last child. I was in labor with my 3rd baby and she seemed unbothered and unconcerned, I had to call both her and the nurse several times to assist me, my baby almost came out with no one there to assist me......

Dr. Abello welcomed me with open arms. She goes beyond for her patients. She's great at what she do.

I thought I was okay with this practice and it was a disaster. Turns out I can't have anymore kids and instead of a happy ending I suffer everyday. EVERYDAY!

She is caring and helpful. She seems to take extra time to answer my questions. Sometimes the office seems too busy, but she never rushed me.

I was going to abello for years until recently. My last experience was shocking and disrespectful. I had testing done we was unable to get in contact with one another so she left a final message saying to just make an appointment to discuss my results. Well, the day on my appointment she did a little procedure and afterwards I was talking to her about my birth control method so she asked if I wanted to get my method removed and get something else, I agreed and instantly abello caught an attitude b/c I didn't tell her prior to procedure. So she went through 3 utensils b/c of her anger so I told her to forget it and I'll just come back another day. Well, abello was putting her arms in the air like she was mad/frustrated with me then she threw her gloves on the floor and stormed out w/o another word to me. I felt disrespected and how she acted was childish and unnecessary! I will NEVER go to abello ever again. Then I called and complained and the manager said she would look into the matter and call me back and haven't heard from her since! Also abello prescribed me wrong prescription!!!!!!! My advice, don't waste your service and money!!!!!
