List of Larry Oxenberg's Reviews
I was hemorrhaging in both eyes during my pregnancy, and he could not figure out why. I felt like I wasn’t being cared for properly even though I was desperately trying to figure out why I was slowly losing my vision. After multiple calls and visits, I eventually gave up and went somewhere else. I just felt like I was being overlooked.

Had been my eye doctor since I was a kid. Hes always been good to me. Great guy great eye doctor very professional.
The doctor was extremely rude to me. It was my first time going to him and I had my one year old with me. She was quiet and calm the entire time, not once did she reach for anything or make a fuss. When the doctor came out to bring me back to do the exam, he didnt even greet me, just stared at me and asked me repeatedly why I didn't have someone to watch my child. I told him my family lives out of town, my husband is working, and we are not seeing friends until the Covid-19 situation is over. He kept telling me that this really "was not ideal", so I offered to reschedule another day when someone could watch my child. He ignored my offer, though I made it three times. After almost ten minutes of this, he finally took me back to do my exam, and he spent less than three minutes in the exam room with me. He took my glasses and had his assistant use them to measure my prescription, which I have never in my 24 years of wearing glasses had an eye doctor do, and then asked me what my prescription was. He then brought me back up front and had the receptionist order me contacts without having me try any to make sure the prescription and lenses worked for me. I have been wearing contacts for over 20 years and again, have never had an eye doctor not had me try on a trial pair of lenses when getting new lenses or a new prescription. They gave me no checkout paperwork, no visit summary, no prescription, just an order to leave through the back door. I have never had a worse experience with any healthcare professional.
I recently relocated about a year ago from Orlando, FL to Lancaster, PA. Let’s just say it’s been a challenge to find a decent eye doctor in the area. This past weekend I had an eye emergency and Dr. Oxenbergs office was one of few I haven’t tried yet. I called and spoke with the on call Dr. Oxenberg. Without hesitation he immediately stated he would meet me in his office in ten mins. Remember this was a weekend on which he was suppose to be off. Anyways I met with the doctor and he helped to figure out what was going on and get a treatment plan in place. He was respectful, kind, informative, and very caring. I will definetly continue to be using his office.
I Love OXENBER I LIVE IN HARRISBURG BUT I COULD NEVER GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
