This place was fine when we first moved mom in a little over a year ago but since thenThey hired a new director who has no idea how to respond to anything besides saying ok.My mom passed away a month ago and she said nothing to us.she should have came in the night she passed like a professional should. My mom should still be here. They are not checked on enough.She was not being watched properly.they don’t have enough help in there. There are too many residents and not enough help. There are a couple aides from outside agency who do allot but then there are those who just sit around and talk and always on their phones.they are nice but do not give 100 percent.I felt the previous director was so much more caring and actually tried to help with fixing things.She should not be working there. She has no compassion. I will never go in there or put anyone in there again. There’s allot more I could say but it would take to long. Please think twice before putting your loved one there. It looks good at first just to get you in there. Why in the world do they have nerve to raise the monthly fee twice in one year and a fee for essential supplies that we should not have to pay for. It’s all about the money not the true caring of the residents

My granddaughter got hired there. She is a good people person

We visited the facility today. It was absolutely beautiful! My loved one was treated very kind by staff! Absolutely would recommend to anyone who is looking for care for a loved one! Thank you to your staff for a Wonderful visit!

While the grounds are beautiful, all the reasons my mom went into an independent living facility were not being addressed. My mom had scripts that were not being filled, transportation not being taking care of, showers being skipped for 4 day stints, meds being ignored for 4-6 hours, . I saw staff yelling and being rude to residents who wanted to ask questions. My mom , who hates change, demanded to move someplace else. Her health really deteriorated

Reading about this place gives me trauma. My mom was forgotten about for three days and we found her soaked in her own urine, unmedicated and unfed. My mom walked into this place with a smile and was dead six weeks later. This place neglected her and now she is gone.

Do not send your family to legends of Lancaster as it is currently being run. The food is terrible they have a few staff because they’re all quitting on them management does not get back to you nor do they really care. The only person in management at this-Legends is their maintenance director who does everything in his power to assist the residence but he’s not supported nor or the aids so many good ones have quit because they’re not supported by management. Everything is covered up the families of the loved ones there are given stories about how wonderful it is it isn’t try to find out why almost 10% of the available apartments are now empty because families are pulling out their loved ones when they find out the truth not to sugarcoat that is sent to them in the newsletter. This is a for profit run facility not a caring facility they even charge us for the masks and gloves worn by the staff for COVID-19. When you pay about $6000 a month to live there and it’s meaningless if more families stopped reading the propaganda put out by the facility and listen to their loved ones that place would be empty pretty darn quick there’s only a couple good managers the sales director and maintenance I wouldn’t give you a penny for the others. I’m sure if the main corporate office in Kansas knew how bad the situation really was with everything from Hyppa violations to failure to care for the residence and the other issues mentioned they would make a clean sweep of the whole place. I will not judge any other Legend facility because I don’t know about them but I sure wouldn’t send any family member to Legend Lancaster and if IHad a family member there I would get them out now

Have toured the community and have visited with other residents when I was visiting. The building is always clean, the associates smiling and they take great pride in caring for the residents. Even in the current environment the residents are smiling and are enjoying activities oh and the great food!I do not think there is a nicer community in the area

Legends Of Lancaster was great at first but after a year it has changed. Staff turnover & not enough staff, raising the rates, not cleaning the room as they did at the beginning. The staff are rude when you call to arrange least a very brief window visit, no help trying to get to doctors appointments, all this has been VERY frustrating. Hopefully they pull out of nose dive!
