List of Lg Health Physicians Eichenlaub And May's Reviews
Great practice! Love Cheri and Dr. Eichenlaub!
If you’re looking for a practice that genuinely cares for you and your concerns… this is not the place. They ignore your questions and you’re left with no answers. They have staff.. one nurse in particular… who is extremely unprofessional and gives you false information. It’s sad, because I had a great experience a couple years ago with my first pregnancy all the way through birth. I had nothing but positive feedback and so much gratitude for the dr and midwife that took care of me and my baby. Unfortunately something has changed at this practice and you’re just a number now.
I am super disappointment with this OB office and will not come back! I waited weeks for my appointment and the day of my appointment after going into the office they deny my appointment due to my insurance. After providing them with my both my insurances they stated they do not take one of them and I cannot continue with my appointment. They did not disclose this when I made the appointment and waited. I was very upset!
Appointments are 5 minutes and the doctors are entirely dismissive of any concerns or pain during pregnancy. I was told that my back pain in pregnancy was because I was depressed and they wanted to put me on 100mg of Zoloft without ever discussing the risks/benefits of being put on that much medication in pregnancy. They told me they have never heard of anyone having severe back pain in pregnancy and told me to "do my own research". They also will not fill out short-term disability forms or record in their notes that you are experiencing any issues. Notes always say, "No issues reported" regardless of what happened in the appointment. The care here feels like drive-thru healthcare. I switched over to UPMC and have had a MUCH better experience and am finally getting the treatment I need
I used to have really great experiences at this place but it does not seem to be so great anymore. It doesn't seem like anyone truly cares about your health and just wants to hand you a bandaid and move on. They don't seem to take health concerns seriously and so you're constantly left paying for appointments in time and money only to leave with zero answers time and time again and a pack of birth control pills that are somehow supposed to solve all your problems. It's extremely disappointing. We will be finding a doctor who listens and honors what we feel and know about our own bodies.
So grateful for the doctors at this practice. I have seen them all and appreciate their kindness and care. Highly Recommend.
Amazing drs and nurses..dr Ruzak delivered my baby safely..so grateful.
Having Dr. Ruszak perform a C-section on me was the worst experience of my life. My uterus was ripped during the csection. Arteries were left bleeding. After two postpartum hemorrhages, I was sent back to the OR. While under general anesthesia, she called gynecology/oncology in to perform a hysterectomy on me against my wishes. My husband pushed back. Gynecology oncology had to tie off a major artery in two spots to stop the bleeding from her surgical trauma. I was then transported to the ICU. While in the ICU, she wouldn’t tell me what happened. Later, she dismissed my complaints of pain stating that the same incision was used for both surgeries.
Dr. Ruszak, Dr. Eichenlaub, and CRNP Cheri Gard provide awesome care for their patients! I love that I can talk to them and express my concerns and feelings and feel unjudged and reassured. I'm partial to Dr. Ruszak as she has delivered both of my boys by c-section - the first of which was under unexpected circumstances and a bit complicated. I will forever be grateful to her for the safe delivery of both of my boys...without modern medicine their deliveries would not have been possible. Likewise, without her leadership in these situations I would have been a bit neurotic. Both times she knew what to say to calm my nerves and complete the surgery with minimal scaring. She visited with me daily after each surgery to see the baby and check-in with me physically and mentally. She also made sure to check-up with me weeks later to inquire about the same. I have had nothing but positive experiences with Dr. Ruszak and the entire Eichenlaub and May practice. If you choose E&M for your obstetrics and gynecology needs you will be well taken care of, rest assured.
I have not visited this office in almost a year because I've been home taking care of the beautiful little boy they helped me grow and deliver, but I will continue to travel the hour to their office from my home for the best care. 3/4 of the providers in the office are absolutely fantastic. They listen to your concerns and take the time to explain every test and even potential procedures in detail. The time spent helping me understand the delivery process and what to expect made the actual delivery very straightforward. The other provider in the office does not respect her patient's time and has clearly made it a habit of running behind schedule. Most people don't mind waiting 10 or 15 minutes but I had 2 appointments that were 50 minutes behind, even though one of them was before 9am. Despite that, she does seem like a knowledgeable provider. My understanding is that all pregnant patients are required to see all 4 providers to get familiarized. Covid was a huge challenge but I felt they took the highest precautions and made sure the safety of patients/staff was the first priority. I have never been to the newer office but the office off of Good Drive is very comfortable (except for the competing music and TV in the waiting area.) Dr. Ruszak will always hold a special place in my heart. She clearly loves what she does and her calm demeanor makes even scary and painful times less stressful. When your own doctor is the one who delivers your baby, it's a little bit luck but also some planning by the practice to form strong bonds with the patients and providers.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
