Richard J Herschaft Md's Online Review Report Card

I've had a few appt.s now w/Dr. Richard Herschaft in their Columbia clinic. I couldn't be more pleased with the attention I received and the quality of health care given. I'm delighted with Dermatology Physicians. Thank you!

I had a really great experience with Dr. Groleau but the office staff can't get it together. My insurance requires a preauthorization that my pharmacy sent over twice. In addition to them having my wrong insurance information on file (I've only been here once so there is no chance of changed or outdated information,) it's now two weeks later and I've called every day and been promised a call back from Joyce, evidently the only person who does a preauthorization, four times and have yet to be contacted. I spoke with someone else this morning who rudely informed me the ever-elusive "Joyce won't be in until Thursday or Friday and might get to it then but truly this isn't our priority because there are other patients with cancer and so we work through them with attention to urgent needs." I'm sorry that my condition isn't considered a priority but if I had been followed up with as promised a week ago, we would not be in a situation where priority needed to be considered. After waiting over 2 weeks for this office to get it together, I'm just going somewhere else. It isn't worth your time, money, or struggle- especially if your condition IS urgent. It's a shame that such a great staff of doctors are supported by such a rude bunch of office folks.

I Do not recommend! I called to setup and appointment and the secretary "Rose" was very rude and not helpful at all. I was going to set something up but decided if this is the way they treat there patience's this is not a place i want to go. I called another practice with the same questions and was treated very respectfully.

Dr. Herschaft well deserves an excellent rating. He is skillful and knowledgeable as well as being a caring and delightful physician. I would not hesitate to recommend him to family and friends.

Dr. Herschaft and his staff are great! He is a very very smart doctor and takes his time. His staff is warm and friendly.

Had a great experience. Great staff, knowledgeable, no concerns. Actually better bedside manner than other dermatologists I've seen prior.

Dr Richard Hershaft is wonderful! He is not only a very thorough dermatologist, he pays attention to all health issues in order to make diagnosis. He is a caring professional that I would recommend to anyone looking for a great Doctor of Dermatology!

Want a dermatologist from the stone age? This is your guy! Most appointments are 45 min to 1.5 hrs LATE. The nurse that works with him is insulting and condescending. Concerns go unheard. So glad I'm out of there!

Dr. Herschaft is an absolutely fantastic dermatologist. He is very courteous and has the best bed side manor! He is so caring, extremely smart and treats you like you are his only patient. He resolved my issue quickly! Thank you Dr. Herschaft!
