I had arthroscopic surgery by Dr. Avallone, and i would not recommend him or his office. He spends 5 minutes with you and stares at his notes the whole time. They only time he seemed interested was when I agreed to surgery. When reviewing my preop condition he said I had received two cortisone shots and info about exercises. In reality, I received one shot and his staff never gave me information about exercises. I told him about the discrepancy and he didn't care.

I asked to speak with him before surgery. Was told he would by the nurse. They wheeled me back to do nerve block and knock me out, I asked again. Still nothing. Nerve block failed causing diaphragm to do cartwheels. I woke up in O.R. immediately after surgery in severe pain. Nurse said nerve block didn't work at all. Asked too speak with dr again was told he left. Surgery went 2.5 hours. I asked what the problem was. Not one person at Good Sam knew they couldn't read his writing. Today nothing

He doesn't listen to what the patient has to say about their own body. He decided that it was ok for me to go back to work yet I still cannot be on my feet for extented periods of time because of the pain. He spends about 5 min with patients and doesn't listen to them. I am still having issues with my injury and because I was sent by workman's comp. They felt the sooner they released me the better. I STILL AM NO BETTER!!!!!

This is a serious dr. I had serious shoulder injury. Five yrs. later am using arm perfectly in a job that totally depends on strong arms.
