List of Anne Marie Marcoux's Reviews
Putting off that colonoscopy ladies? Don't. Dr. Marcoux and her amazing staff will take care of you, fast, professionally and with kindness. So glad my G.P. referred me.
This was the worst doctor's appointment I have ever had. The nurse who brought me into the room was abrasive in the way that she addressed me with her questions. When Dr. Marcoux came into the room, she was also abrasive. I don't believe she smiled once. Also, the staff was not masked, which surprised me. When they e-mailed me the notes from my Portal, they had the reason for my visit incorrect. Also they had my Primary Care Physician as someone I never heard of. I called them to correct this information, but my Portal does not reflect the corrections. All in all, I would never recommend this practice to anyone.
Outstanding, had a Colonoscopy by another Doctor he discovered a large polyp in a critical area and couldn't remove it. Made appointment with Doctor Marcoux. She looked at it and said no problem. Went a week later and she performed the removal and I was out of the Endo Center in 2 hours with no problems. Clean bill of health. She explained everything to me after. 6 stars.
Great doctor! I love Dr. Marcoux. She has always been down to earth, caring and willing to listen. I have been there 3 times over the years, and each time Dr. Marcoux was so caring!!
While I (John) have been serviced by Dr Anne-Marie Marcoux in the past (i.e. 3 colonoscopies) to my satisfaction, NOT excluding my appreciation, I was HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED with my last visit/procedure (i.e. D.O.S. - 6/22/21; colonoscopy). Specifically, her (i.e. Dr Marcoux's) explanation and recommendation related to findings/outcome were EXTREMELY LIMITED (VERBAL and DOCUMENTATION), VAGUE, and NON-COMMUNICATIVE. Examples include, but are NOT limited to: 1) DISCHARGE Dx of NON-THROMBOSED INTERNAL HEMORRHOIDS - does NOT reflect that the patient experienced THROMBOSED INTERNAL HEMORRHOIDS prior to the procedure among other INPUT as offered; 2) RECOMMENDATION - "Increase FIBER in diet" (note: nothing mentioned regarding PROBIOTICS, PREBIOTICS, SOLUBLE FIBER, CAFFEINE, DAIRY PRODUCT (e.g. milk) AFFECT, SPECIFIC DIET PRACTICES...); 3) PROGNOSIS - NOT provided; 4) MEDICAL RECORD/DOCUMENTATION - lacking in content. As said, I as a former Software Engineer/Researcher believe that Dr Marcoux should consider employing a "holistic" approach to her patients, an approach integrating ALL aspects of rendering HEALTHCARE (i.e. from INITIAL VISIT thru DISCHARGE). Further, to the extent that the Doctor LISTENS to and ENGAGES the patient, ALL should benefit. To the contrary, isolating on an aspect(s), as execution of TECHNICAL EXPERTISE, may undermine the DOCTOR/PATIENT relationship. In closing, I hope Dr Marcoux and her patients (including self) benefit by my input AND that of others. Sincerely, John Damiani III
Dr. Marcoux is excellent & I only trust her! I've had 2 colonoscopys performed over the past 2 decades by Dr. Marcoux & I'm scheduling a third now. YES. I would highly recommend her to family and friends.
After dealing with fecal incontinence for 10 years, I finally made an appointment with Dr. Marcaux after reading her positive reviews. I have never given a negative review before but felt she might gain something from this one... First, the assistant was not very friendly, not a requirement, of course, but helps under this circumstance. My blood pressure that day was 144 when I am always very low (110 to 120) and it was just taken at my Dr. the past week...I was alarmed and mentioned that, so she took it again, and of course, it was even higher now , 155! It concerned me since I was scheduled for an ultra sound for my arteries that week also..she said well let's take it till we get a number you like!?And that was it?? no conversation...I felt Dr. Marcaux didn't ask me enough questions, ie diet, supplements, etc...I kept offering info like my current diet...I even brought my supplements along in case that was a problem! I filled out an extensive questionnaire that I thought she might refer to but she didn't. She just appeared somewhat disinterested making me feel that my issue seem not so important, but it was to me! Maybe I was looking for too much... I felt more like an annoyance and left with an uncomfortable feeling...friendly conversation and concern would really make a patient feel much more at ease...it was a "cold" visit. At the end of the visit, Dr. Marcaux asked me if I wanted a colonoscopy (who does???) I thought she should be the judge of that..so I declined. She did give me what seems like some sound advice which I will try and that I hope will help...it's really not a pleasant thing to live with...I am sure she is a very good Dr. by other reviews, my experience was just a disappointment. Maybe it was just an off day...I was looking for a female doctor because of the embarrassing problem but I think I will look for another doctor down the road, male or female this time...
Dr. Marceau is always pleasant and answers questions. I feel confidant with her care.
Such an unpleasant experience. No bedside manner and in all the email exchanges after the visit it felt like pulling teeth to get her to respond with any info. Beyond what she absolutely had to say to get rid of me.
I saw Dr. Marcoux for the first time for a routine colonoscopy. I had some issues with the prep but the procedure went smoothly. Dr. Marcoux has wonderful bedside manner and was very sweet and thorough explaining the results of the procedure and aftercare. I would highly recommend Dr. Marcoux!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
