Great office. I see Dr. White. He is wonderful. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Very understanding. Always has the time to listen.
I went to see Dr Friedman m, July 2020, but ended up with a nurse practitioner as a new patient. She prescribed some tests and I returned assuming I would see the doctor. I then took another blood test as I wanted them 3 months apart. I asked the NP when I can see the doctor. This was October 2020. She told me that the earliest appointment would be in March 2021. Ridiculous!!!Then I had a request from my new doctor (obviously) to have my gynecologist records sent from Friedman’s office to my new doctor’s office last February 2021. I’m now at my doctor finding out that none were sent. Would NOT recommend this doctor.
Closed on a Monday? Oct 26th, 2020??? Maybe everyone had a medical emergency!!! Hope the "Doc" and all, Excellent nurses/ helpers are ok. We will see what happens Tuesday??? Twilight Zone episode!! Funny. PS, hopefully, the "Rapture" is not here yet?!
I've been using this doctor for a couple years now after the last doctors - Bucks Family Practice off of Bensalem Blvd who had a great (female) doctor, plus several other (doctor's) but the staff was so rude and incompetent, I had to leave. As a Keystone 1st (welfare) participant many weren't taking that insurance. Only Dr. Friedman, a solo doctor with a nurse practioner. While Dr. Friedmann is very thorough, he's been through a few nurse pr and the last one was great. But the one on now is not right for me, so I told the office I refuse to see her, only the doctor. But he has way too big of a caseload. I know there are on call doctor's, but I rather get my teeth pulled than try to call them for an appointment. Staff isn't exactly rude, but need to learn some tact. Really? Trying to rush me off the phone when I really need to see him! His nurse practitioner prescribed me an anti anxiety pill. She never called me to discuss it, nor did the pharmacy provide me with an instruction guide - like cvs does. Ok, the side effects of this pill is hands trembling, excitability, increased agitation. She never warned me of these effects which I have. No I'm being told it might be an effect of my "needing 1 shot of alchohol a day to ease my pain" excuse me? The departure papers which I just read but didn't sign was, as she quoted "signs of alchohol abuse"!!! I got so mad I called up and demanded to speak to the office manager, who was off from a Thursday to the next Tuesday. I waited till 1 pm and no call, so called the office directly - no answering service during their lunch break????? Ok so Susan called me back directly and actually said "why did you accept the medicine than, if you don't like taking it" excuse me? The N.P. never talked to me directly before hand about this anti anxiety drug! As I told Dr Friedmann I am not depressed, just to the point of high anxiety. Ok that's one form of depression, but I don't feel depressed, just excitable, as too many rude people out there, and I'm to the point I get rude back right off the bat. But when Dr. Friedmann was nice enough to call me back way after hours, he even said 1 shot is too much? Ah not according to the site on alcoholism. Also, if you’re slurping four or more drinks a night, or if your total weekly intake exceeds 14 drinks, you’re at elevated risk for an abuse disorder. (The NIAAA offers this helpful questionnaire if you’re not sure how to assess your habit.)So 1 shot is too much? Ok wow. I do not need to keep drinking as an alcoholic does. Plus he refused to prescribe me more (generic) form of valium, which I used only as prescribed for muscle spasms. Oh, it's addictive. I repeated again I'm not a drug or alcohol abuser. I really have no medicine for pain and stiffness now except Naproxen, which my orthopedic Dr prescribed, not B Friedmann. So no valium no pain pills, a N.P. who states my blood work was fine, yet when I asked did they check for alchohol poisoning, she said that wasnt checked!! Oh detox what?.. I do not need detox, I need a way to get rid of this pain - terrible arthritis. Ok my ortho guy said right off the bat I need a knee replacement. Honey I gave birth 3 times 2 at home I can stand pain!!! No not until I can't walk anymore. But as a person who refuses to drive due to the nutcases on the road I am forced to walk. So the cold weather, activity just worsens it. I do use Bucks County Transport, they need a week ahead to schedule. And I refuse to go to Lower Bucks 'Hospital' if that is not what it is. I told my executor, I rather die than step one foot near that place. Ok so I'm running out of options. I hate to switch doctors again, and probably will have to apply for Medicare, to get another one, as most refuse keystone 1st. Sorry, NOT SORRY.
Dr. Friedmann is a caring and dedicated professional. My family has gone to him for many years and has appreciated the top-notch care we have received. His staff is also proficient in what they do. I would highly recommend anyone to take him on as their health-care provider. Thank you Dr. Friedmann!
I have been with Dr Friedmann since he started his practice in the early 70,He is also my grandchildren physician. A dr that takes his time with you and show genuine concern. I will always be with him.Shirley H.
He's terrific! Knowledgeable, friendly, calls you personally with test results, really cares! Nurse practitioner is great, too -- and front desk is very helpful and friendly on phone and in office.
I love Dr Friedman. I have known him for many years and he cares deeply for his patients.I really think I am coming back to his office because the best dr I ever had
I’ve been going there since I was 4-5 years old and never had an issue until now. They’ve taken on too many patients and cannot handle the patients they have now. I called looking for an appointment and was told I cannot be seen until April. If I wanted to be seen sooner, I would have to pay out of pocket to see the nurse practitioner because she doesn’t take my insurance. How do you have a nurse practitioner that doesn’t take the same insurance that the doctor takes? 🤔 Now after 20+ years of being treated here, I have to change doctors.SN: l love Dr. Freidman, he is a great doctor, but the office is run poorly.
I switched to dr Friedman after my other doctor I had retired. Out of The 5 visits I had there, only one went smoothly. They put me on hold for over 10 minutes just to tell me they don’t have any appointments when I was very sick. The receptionist told me to just go to an urgent care in a rude manner. When I have been able to get appointments, I wasn’t seen until 2 hours after my appointment time due to lack of staff, and that was even before there nurse practitioner left. My quickest time getting back to a room was 50 minutes. The doctor himself is a very friendly caring doctor; but unfortunately his staff members are rude and inconsiderate. Since I was told I couldn’t be seen and to just go to urgent care, I have switched doctors and will never be returning to dr Friedman’s.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
