Francis Metkus's Online Review Report Card

Doctor Metkus, He is one of the finest physicians that I have ever experienced. He is compassionate, understanding, extremely knowledgeable. He has the unique ability to explain everything in a very understandable way to all of his patients. Anyone fortunate enough to have him As their primary physician is extremely lucky.

Great Doctor!

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Metkus since he started his practice and can't say enough good things about him and his staff. His manner is down to earth and compassionate and his medical expertise is admired not only by us, but by many of the specialists he has referred us to over the years. We have heard remarks from them that he is the best internist in the entire area. In all these years he has never failed to make a correct diagnosis nor to refer us if he feels it necessary for additional opinions or tests.

I have read some to the reviews and could not disagree more. I have been seeing Dr Metkus for many, many years, and he has been by far the best Dr I have ever come in contact with. He is consistently patient, caring and courteous. I have referred many people to him and every single person could not be more pleased. If I could give him more than 5 stars, I would.

Absolutely no common sense or consideration. You are a number & an insurance claim at this practice. If you are a caregiver or are a geriatric patient - LEAVE THIS PRACTICE NOW!!! Unless you're physically in the doctor's presence, paying to see him, Dr. Metkus considers you to be a leech, apparently taking time away from his ability to pat himself on the back. Believe me when I say, he doesn't care about you....HE is HIS first priority. Each time I've referenced his name with specialists and physician peers they've said equivocal to what I'm stating here.

I'm usually a patient of Dr. Litovsky, however, I ran into an emergency situation on Friday, of course right before the weekend! But between the AMAZING staff and Dr. Metkus squeezing me in (you wouldn't have known it because he took his time and did not rush anything) I got there and got the help I needed!!!! Thank you to the ENTIRE staff at Medical Arts, you all are truly amazing!

This doctor discriminates and seems to only want to treat patient with CERTAIN pre-existing conditions but not others. IMHO even though he has some people that swear by him my experience with him has been bad. If you have some minor ailments he seems to like the easy one two three cases and a basic triage from him seems to be his thing.

Dr Metkus has been my PCP for 15 years now. Seeing him is like a breath of fresh air. I've never seen him have a bad day. He doesn't preach or ridicule anyone. (the post below may pertain to Dr Susman,one of Dr Metkus's associates. By the description, it sounds like Sussman) Anyway, Dr Metkus has been very supportive of my trying Homeopathic treatments on a condition most doctors are not familiar with (which he clearly admits to.) He was very impressed with some of my own research on anti imflammatory alterative treatments and even stated he was going to try them for himself. As far as the office staff goes I never had a problem getting a referral for my insurance. I like Dr Metkus alot. I would not have anyone else be my PCP. I thank God for him, especially since I've had such horrible experiences with specialists. NOt all doctors are the same. For sure!!!

Dr. Metkus and his group were recommended to me by several nurses in a local hospital, when my regular doctors decided to join a "Conciege" practice. While I was concerned about changing doctors, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. I have full confidence in every member of this wonderful group of physicians. Dr. Metkus is one of the most thorough of any doctor I've ever had. He orders lab tests BEFORE each regular visit, so he has that information when you visit, not afterward. He is the first doctor I've ever had that did this.

Dr Metkus has been my PCP for about 15 years. What a pleasure to see him. He is kind, non-judgmental and very helpful. I've never seen Dr Metkus have a bad day. His office is run by his wife Ronni and she runs a tight ship, and has everything under control. Never a problem with getting referals, that dept are on their toes too. The office is great with getting back to patients and follow up. His associates are just as well thought of too. I am blessed to have a great PCP.
