I think Dr. Alvarez is wonderful He has helped me a great deal with my acute tendonitis and piriformis syndrome I recommend high highly however he is almost impossible to get an appointment with He had me get a follow-up MRI and x-ray after our last treatment to assess my progress - you know, before and after idea - but that was in March and I have been trying ever since to get another meeting with him and failed his scheduling procedure is terrible

Dr Alvarez is a wonderful Doctor. I’ve had multiple issues in the passed year +. He is an excellent listener and always presents treatment plans that are extremely helpful.

I have seen Dr. Alvarez for many years for wide variety of pain conditions and other medical diagnosises which are life long. Dr. Alvarez is outstanding when it comes to reviewing your case and communicating with all of the specialists and drs on your care teams. He has tried different types of treatments to see if it helps my full body CRPS and other pain diagnosises I have such as injections and medications until we found one that provides me some relief and gives me some quality of life. He is so understanding and encouraging because Dr.Alvarez understanding living 24/7 in pain + flare ups is a nightmare and he will listen to you and will figure out the best plan of action to reduce pain and supports using other ways of pain reduction such as various therapies like massage, talk therapy, yoga, acupuncture, supplements ect. I trust and respect this Dr and Robert his amazing nurse.

Never had a chance to see the DR. customer service for this place is horrible. The receptionist is not good at her job. I think management needs to evaluate customer service practices.

Dr. Alvarez is one of the best doctors I see! He not only is involved in the pain part of my medical care, Dr. Alvarez has an eye on me! The communication between us is wonderful!

Thus far, I had met with Dr. Alvarez for the initial visit. He was a gentleman, professional and most importantly for me, down to earth. Prior to the visit, he requested up-to-date, MRI's and X-Rays of mt back. Upon meeting he went over every frame of the MRI's and the X-ray's. He prescribed medications to help relieve the pain. Secondly, he requested that I see a surgeon to ascertain that surgery was no longer an option for me. The surgeon noted that no surgery could help me. The next 2 visits I was seen by his nurse practitioner, who was excellent. I have an appointment scheduled for nest month with Dr. Alvarez to discuss epidurals. Thus far, I'm extremely pleased with the doctor and his excellent office staff. Steven Stryker

My mom is currently a patient of Dr. Alvarez. He is a very caring and very knowledgeable physician. He takes his time to discuss my mom's condition, never in a rush, and explains everything in terms you can understand. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing pain management.
