List of Evan Kessler's Reviews
he has his good points, but this doctor often does nothing, during an office visit, but gossip about other patients, revealing personal details and complaining that they bring him their maladies, saying how gross they are.
Hated me for some reason for years & I had no idea. Kept sending me GI tests I had already passed. Finally had a GI doctor's office 10 miles away call & say he scheduled me for a GI poke. I changed practices after 12 years with them.
Reading other reviews, I'm glad to see it wasn't just me with concerns about this man. I wish I had known that before. As someone else said, he has strange beliefs that shouldn't be pushed on to orients. My last visit, the man that was on the scale before me was a bit heavy. I saw Kessler make a face while he was on a scale. Kessler made eye contact with me. When he walked into the room I was on, the first thing he said was how he thought the fat patient was going to break his scale. Shortly after he proceeded to say how too many people that go in there need psychiatric help and strong medication. This had nothing to do with my appointment. He just talked poorly about other patients to me. Horrible excuse for a doctor.
Dr. Kessler has been my Dr. for many years now. He truly takes the time to listen to what is happening. He also takes the time to explain the course of action chosen for each situation. He even gives you the why's and why not's of his diagnosis or course of action. I would recommend him to everyone.
Misdiagnosed
Trash talks his other patients. Very rude to my wife and I during our visit. Tried to add and say that I have a medical condition on my medical records for a medication he tried to force me to buy (simple because I refused his strange beliefs on why patients should take it). The American Board of Family Medicine should look into this mans ethics and strange practicing habits.
Awful practitioner. Rude and tries to force medications on you so that he can bill your insurance company. Do not recommend!
Dr Kessler has been a good provider each time I’ve seen him. He’s thorough and explains things and allows for questions. I have been able to schedule with him easily as well.
Talks about his patients and comments
Never any follow up with referrals. Staff sometimes processes them.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
