List of John Kwon's Reviews
Best, most straight shooting dermatologist in the valley. Truly sad he left the area.
Have left 4 messages trying to schedule an appointment. Last 2 messages were with the office manager, did receive a return call but I was at work. Called back again, still no return call.
He was very transparent and showed us the different treatment options, and gave us his recommendations. He had no problems allowing us to get a second opinion. Great wth my kid.
Kind bedside mannerisms, he put my child at ease and followed up after appointment.
I went to see Dr Kwon for a full body check, a spot on my head and a cyst on my back. The spot on my upper back was not cancerous but was borderline, so he convinced me it should be removed. I now have an inch by inch and a half keloid on my upper back which is hideous and very uncomfortable when sitting or laying down. When I spoke to the office manager, Lisa Cummings, I showed her the ugly scar and sent her pictures. She said that Dr Kwon would charge me for a visit to look at it and charge me for a cream to try to lesson the awful appearance. I explained to her that when I showed the scar to Dr Kwon, his response was that "You won't be winning any beauty pageants anymore." Incredibly rude and insensitive! In addition, the spot on my head which he assured me needed to be removed was negative and the cyst on my back that he removed, the stitches weren't taken out correctly and I needed a return visit because of the irritation it was causing. Obviously, not a pleasant experience with the doctor or his handling of an unhappy patient. I recommend to stay away from this man and find someone kinder and more competent.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
