I have never felt that he has rushed discussions and has taken great care to ensure that I have understood diagnoses and treatment options so that I can make the best decisions about my care plan.

I've been a patient of Dr. Spellman's for over 25 years. I like his surgery conservative approach to treatment, yet recommending surgery when other options have not given sustained relief. I have seen him for plantar fasciitis, carpal tunnel of the wrist, and osteoarthritis of the knee.

I went to Dr. Spellman for a rotator cuff injury from a slip and fall on ice in January. He was very professional and informative and treated the injury with a Novocain and cortisone injection which has given me great relief from the pain.

Dr. Spellman expresses concern for my wellbeing while he is administering injections, and always asks for my evaluation of how much good they are doing. I'm pleased that my knee pain has been greatly diminished, and I can walk regularly and go to the Y again. Staff is friendly and helpful.
