Robert A Durako's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Durako and his staff have been very professional and caring. My wife and I have had him as my Primary care Physician for almost 20 Years. He has always responded to our calls and needs in an efficient manner. He has been very thorough and in my opinion has recommend specialist care that more than likely save both of or lives.

Went here years ago. The bedside manner is lacking. Very automated and little actual interest in the patient. The doctor is grossly overweight and had the audacity to tell me I needed to lose weight.I stopped going here.

Incompetent. Forgetful. Careless. Spent no time checking even the basics, never replies when I answer his one of two questions or complain of a side effect. Has written my prescription incorrectly multiple times now, causing big issues for me, my health, and a headache with the pharmacy and my insurance... I've only seen him a few times and ...just wow. I need to find a capable doctor asap.

If I could leave no starts i would. I came to him as a last resort and was treated with zero dignity and respect. He should not be allowed to practice. What happened to do no harm..

Love Dr. Durako. Been with him at least 20yrs. Love all the office staff also. He takes great care of me and is always concerned, attentive and caring. Listens and acts on all of my problems. I go way out of my way to continue being a patient of his. I've gone through alot with him over the years and I appreciate him so much. Always accommodating when making appointments. Just a good guy!!!!

Do NOT go here for Suboxone. He and his staff are rude and above it all. Compassionate? Pfffft. A gross example of humanity and the oath he takes to do no harm.

Recently switched family doctor to LVHN doctors only because I live in Easton now. Dr. was great and always treated with respect.

This is the most unprofessional Dr I've ever been too. They don't tell you until you get there that your insurance will require counseling before approving your prescription. The Dr won't even call for the pre-authorization, even though you are expected to immediately get 2 Suboxone or Subutex and go back to take it in his presence. So, like me, many don't have cash and therefore wouldn't be able to do that, making their whole program impossible for the patient. Luckily I was able to wait for my husband to get off work and made it to the pharmacy and back to the Dr's office just before they closed to take it and get my weeks prescription. I then called my pharmacy the next day and they said they still hadn't gotten the pre-authorization from my Dr. I called the Dr's office and was told in a rude way, that they told me my insurance company would require counseling! First of all, yes.. but I was told the day of my appointment not when I called to set it up so I could've also made sure to set up counseling. Secondly, I decided to call my insurance company who transferred me to their Pharmacy department and explained to them what happened. They were shocked! They said they definitely would've approved that weeks prescription and I could've set up the counseling after. They then gave me a code to give to my pharmacy that would approve the rest of the prescription. To review, it's not your insurance company that won't approve it, it's Dr. Durako who won't even try to call your insurance company! Also, I was treated like a junkie. There were other patients being seen for other things and the one was next to my room and I could hear everything. The Dr talked and laughed with the person and treated them with nothing but respect! I don'thad amazing Suboxone Dr in the past who was compassionate to me and all of his Suboxone patients. Unfortunately, he's in Jersey and I live in PA now. I don't think just any Dr should be able to prescribe these medications. Especially if they think they are better than us.. which Dr. Durako and the nurse Sandy I saw, clearly thought they were! They should be ashamed of themselves for how they treat Suboxone patients. I know a few people who warned me about him when I told them where I was going. But I'm now pregnant and needed to get on Subutex and quickly. I have a new Dr now who treated me like a human! He's great!
