Love staff
I became a patient of Dr. Werner over 3 yrs ago. I'm now 61 yrs old & needed a new pain Dr after retiring and moving to PA from NYC. I would see Dr Werner every 6 months for knee joint lubricant injections but this would only be a temporary repair. I had so much pain in my left knee that I knew it was time for something else. Dr Werner performed a full knee replacement and I have been almost totally pain free. I'm a little overweight still but after 3 months of therapy my new knee is really feeling great. I pretty sure I'll be ready for surgery my other Knee next year. Thanks Dr. Werner. (David Sims/Camp Hill)
More like visits. First visit was referral from family doctor for pain in right knee that was not helped with physical therapy and injections. That knee was operated on and within 6 weeks I was feeling ready to tackle more strenuous activity. Unfortunately the left knee decided at that time to deteriorate (in spite of ongoing physical therapy on both right and left knees) at a rapid pace. Actually glad it forced the issue of going back to Dr. Werner and scheduling the right knee. As soon as I was scheduled I started the exercises recommended. As soon as I got home from surgery I started to receive home PT for two weeks, then started outpatient PT. By the end of two weeks I was using a cane. About a week later I was walking much of the tie without the cane. The combination of Dr. Werner's surgery, the support received from his support staff, the support received by the home PT person and the great outpatient physical therapy I received resulted in a great recovery.
Long story short, messed up my ankle and despite multiple visits just kept telling me I need more time to recover. Last time I called the office to tell them it was still not right they wouldn’t even return my call.
After a decade of suffering, which led to depression, dependence on pills, and ultimately the collapse of my decades long marriage, I found Dr. Werner and Maze. When I say this, I am not being melodramatic, but Dr. Werner and his team saved my life. Like many who have seen him, I saw doctors that were just not interested, its "in my head", see a sex therapist, do relaxation techniques. In two weeks of testing, Maze found 3 separate issues with me, and when Dr. Werner asked me about a history of anxiety in my family, I knew I had found the right people. Him, Nick, Paul and the rest of the team explained the role of "fight or flight" caused by adrenalin, and how psychogenic ED becomes physical ED because of this. Also, my Testosterone was 127!!. No doctor ever bothered to test it. This all caused trapping issues. In 3 weeks, after a non-dependency building drug to kill anxiety and a Testosterone boost, I felt the best I have ever felt in 15 years. Dr. Werner cares. You can see it on his face and hear it in his voice. This is not person just going thru the motions, this is doctor who knows your name, goes out of his way, and is without hesitation, the best doctor I've ever seen in my life. I've sent other men there. They thanked me. I speak with men all the time, and many have these issues. I've told them we no longer have to suffer and be embarrassed, and feel like 1/2 of a man. Get help! If there is a Heaven, Doc Werner, Nick and the rest of the team have reserved spots.
This medical practice is committing insurance fraud. I was invited in to discuss sensitive issues, spent an hour with a nurse practitioner and questioned by a therapist. It lasted about an hour. I was sold some items -- none of which addressed the issue at hand. My insurance company was charged an exorbitant sum and I was charged further fees. I was told that I would owe no further monies. When I returned for a follow-up, I was given a bum's rush (I am assuming because they were done draining my insurance company and were no longer interested in 'helping') and told to go see my GYN. Months later, I have now just received another invoice prompting this review. Frankly, to take a health issue, act as though you are going to sensitively help overcome it, and then drop the ball after taking insurance payments: a total scam. Surreal. There are plenty of online places I can vent my anger. This is just the start.
I was very pleased with the visit.
I have been seeing Dr. Werner and his fine staff for a few years now and simply put-it's the best medical care I've ever experienced. Due in large part to the guidance and healthcare I've experienced here I feel like the best version of myself at age 41. I could not recommend this Dr. Werner and his great team more highly.Thank you all for what you do!
Thank you Dr. Werner! My wife and I both have friends and family that had difficulty conceiving a child, so we decided to make sure that both of us were "ok" before we started trying, especially since I was in my early 50s. Good thing that we did. And good thing we met Dr. Werner. The Doctor correctly diagnosed an issue that I had that was quickly addressed with a medical procedure. Between that and some non-invasive and natural enhancing actions that were in line with our religious beliefs, we were able to conceive our first child within 3 months of my procedure. We now have a wonderful 2 year old son, and with Dr. Werner's help we recently conceived our 2nd child only a few months after the Doctor implemented the same plan as the first time around. My wife and I are forever grateful to the Doctor for his help, which he always explained in an easy-to-understand way with a compassionate demeanor. I can't give a higher recommendation than Dr. Werner!
Excellent doctor! Had plantar fasciitis pain for 2 years ..tried everything. Finally met Dr. Werner and had surgery 2017. Pain FREE!!! Thanks doc! ????

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
