Dr Thorpe is extremely thorough and friendly. She doesn’t rush through your appt and really listens to you. My husband and I are so happy to have found her.

First appointment set on March 23, 2020 for April 21, 2020 @ 8:20 in Levittown.I was never given a suite number for this location upon confirmation; which would have helped me locate the actual office in the complex, much easier.After riding through the entire complex, I arrived and was informed that I should of arrived at 8 am instead.No one ever gave me this info nor am I a new patient of Dr. Thorpe. I have been a patient of hers for over 12 years. This is just a different location where I would have seen her today.I transferred to this office because of my confidence in Dr. Thorpe to further manage my care after I arrived at the Rhawn st. office on 3/23/2020 to see Dr. Olsen because he was the only appointment available that week. During that phone call, I was informed by the office manger that Dr. Thorpe had changed her location and that Dr. Olsen would be a great fit in her opinion, going forward during our lengthy conversation.Upon my arrival at my appointment on 3/23 after checking in, filling out forms & a 20 minute wait; I was denied because the office manager conveniently forgot to tell me to switch my primary doctors name on my health insurance card prior to my appointment.I called my insurance company immediately while still in the office; and the agent informed me that there was NO REASON to deny my appointment because both of the physicians were in the same practice. They bill the practice not the physician; so the card info shouldn’t matter since they’re in the same office. Of course, the office manager never came out to acknowledge her mistake or to try and assist with this situation. Very unprofessional.....My concern is that both of these offices are operating with a lack of empathy or consideration for their patients time & care. Thankfully, my appointment was not for an issue that I was in dire need to discuss with my primary or be treated for. Miscommunication and lack of organization seems to be a huge issue for both of these locations. I now have to seek out a new primary care physician because of other employees who are casting a bad reflection on my Doctor. I pray that others don’t face the same issues going forward. 12 years of good experiences & patient relationship - down the drain because of the negative attitudes of other employees who seem to care less and choose to treat you like a number.

I have been a patient of Dr. Thorpe for one year now and I want to tell you that she is the Doctor who cares. So if you are searching for a good doctor, I recommend Dr. Helen Thorpe.

She is a very attentive and caring physician. She spent a lot of time going over my medical history,medications,family history,symptoms. She observed a symptom that no one else mentioned. That my speech was slurred. She wanted a full blood work up and wanted to see me in a month.

I just had a physical done today with Dr. Helen Thorpe. She was absolutely amazing. I haven't seen a Dr. In at least 10 years. She did not judge me. She was sweet, kind hearted and compassionate. I felt comfortable and the staff were very helpful and the office was clean!! Overall experience was wonderful!

Dr. Thorpe is a very caring doctor. I do not feel like I am rushed in and out of the office. She takes her time and I feel she truly cares about me as her patient. I have been going to Dr. Thorpe for over 10 years. In addition the staff is very knowledgeable and accommodating and the wait time in the office has never been more than a few minutes. If you are looking for a new primary care doctor, give this office a call - you won't regret it!

Dr Thorpe is an excellent physician with both assistiing me with a medical difficulty and assessing my medical problems. she diagnosed my hearth Afibulation and took immediate care were others wthought I had the flu. same with my asthma, no other doctor assisted me with ythe asthma even went to ER 2 times and admitted with no results. excellent doctor. I have refered people to see her as their primary physician

When I was hospitalized my daughter and then my nurse called for me multiple to inform the Doctor that I was in the hospital and VERY sick and needed to speak to her.I NEVER RECIEVED A RETURN CALL. I NEEDED HER THEN. When I was able to make a phone call by myself (three weeks later I was still in the hospital) and STILL no one had the courtesy to return my calls.Six weeks after finally leaving the hospital I'm sitting at home and the office CALLS ME to inform me I missed an appointment.I can't express here how ANGRY I was. When she was losing money on my missed visit,THAT WARRENTED A PHONE CALL.WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS DR. TO ANYONE REALLY ILL,only for flu shots and prescription renewal for MINOR ILLNESSES.

What a wonderful doctor...very courteous staff...really understands her patients.
