I went to his office to get some prices to compare to other optometrists in the area. The receptionist was rude, informed me they don't even discuss prices unless you've already made an appointment (makes it impossible to shop around), and then answers a phone without even giving me the courtesy of saying, "excuse me." If this is the service they give everyone, I'm surprised they've stayed in business this long. I certainly won't be back.

I would recommend Dr. Bechtel to everyone. I have already sent 4 or 5 people there and they all loved him and his office as well. He always takes the time you need. I never feel rushed. He answers every question I ever have.

I've never been disappointed with Dr. Bechtel's office. I've been using their services for over 18 years and have known the family for almost 30. The entire staff is always friendly and greet you right away. If I feel our opinions differ they are sure to compromise to the patients liking (so as not to compromise health situation). I have switched insurance and am not sure if they cover Bechtel's office so I will leave another rating regarding financing when I receive my billing invoice.
