Dr schaaf replaced my left hip. My leg was then longer than my right leg. He was unconcerned. My hip was better but now I have a limp. Two years later he replaced my right hip. I asked him to please make my legs even. He then made my right leg longer. He again was unconcerned. He told me to just put a lift in my left shoe. He doesn't realize that my my whole skeleton is now c not even. I am very unhappy and will not trust him ever again. I have spent $1,000.00 for new soles on all of my shoes.

I recently had a total hip replacement on the direction of Dr Schaaf. I really didn't do any research on hip replacement, but I was in so much pain I though it was my back, but after seeing Dr Schaaf, and he saw my xray, he said that it would be the only way to stop the pain. So now my hips are good. They still need to heal fully, but the excruciating pain from that is now gone and I can almost walk again. Not from the hip replacement, but now from my lower back. Dr Schaaf set me up for a spinal xray which now I have to tackle that pain, but it is not half as bad when my hips were bad. I almost could not walk. But Dr Schaaf is most definitely a great surgeon. I am so glad I came to him when I did. Thank you Dr Schaaf! And all the great nurses who helped me recover at Phoenixville hospital also, and in the Rothman office. Everyone was so nice and caring I almost didn't believe it. Thank you !!

Dr Schaaf & his staff did an EXCELLENT job replacing both of my hips. They made sure all fears relevant to procedure were addressed & resolved. I am PAIN FREE. I highly recommend Dr Schaff & his TEAM.

Dr. Schaaf is nothing short of exceptional! He is very considerate and kind in his approach, and excellent in surgery. A mutual friend recommended him to me and I am so glad I chose to come to Rothman from 130 miles away for my knee replacement surgery. The entire staff at the clinic and at the hospital were exceptional!
