HIGH SCHOOL MEAN GIRL CLICK not Medical Practice: There were issues. The Dr was great. The staff just won't let you see her, ever. I will miss her very much. The Office Manager and her staff don't know they are a medical practice, you know, healthcare. The saddest thing is that they are women hurting other women. Why do people harm others now, post Covid? Who knows. I guess this is Rage. Hostility that brings purposeful harm to human beings for sport. The guns. Our children. The destruction of innocent lives. We all see it everyday. The staff would not behave this way if it did not bring them gratification. I guess they feel superior, smarter, safer, more in control, etc. Harming another provides a momentary reward of some kind. I went several months without Rx after many polite calls to the office. The staff was unable to submit them to the Fed Govt. Computers. They hung up, yelled and told me to do it myself. I left a message for the Office Mgr. She did not return the call. I waited months to see my Dr so she could do it for them. The yelling continued once when I stopped in to pick something up. Never an apology. No upper GIs annually for 3 years. I can't even get an appt to see my doctor this year. No care plan. Cancelled Dr's appt after 4 month wait. 1st staff asked if I would cancel. Were very rude when I would not. Then, cancelled anyway. No other appt offered with any doctor at all. 15 years with practice. Staff even terminated care for quietly weeping in the Phoenixville office. There are witnesses and a recorded line conversation. It was due to no fault of the office that I was in. So, I certainly was not about to disturb the office personnel or the other patients in the office. I am respectful. I was quiet. All on tape. Office Manager told me personally, that I was terminated for my "behavior", (the quiet crying). You violated my HIPPA rights as well. You know that correct emergency response protocols were not followed by Tower nurse. You know that the attack on my person, was just that, personal. No other possibility as my history with your office is long. I have called your office to rectify this situation several times, from June until August 14th. The Office Manager would not discuss how I may get my records. I made my situation clear, again, on August 14. She said I had no rights and hung up. Post-Covid put hostility on steroids. It misdirects it Doctors office staff are in a "power position". They may write anything on charts. And Do! We have no voice. To me this is simple. They are a service company. They did not provide quality healthcare. There are rules, standards they must meet for licensure. They are licensed through the PA Department of Health. They may be cited for failure to follow protocol and provide standards of care. We do teach people how to treat us. The actions of this office, under the licensure of the Dr. were inappropriate. All medical facilities have: PATIENT'S RIGHTS. Here is just one right we have. "You have the right to receive care in a safe setting that is free from abuse, harassment, neglect, exploitation and verbal, mental, physical, and sexual abuse." In fact, Penn Medicine patients have the right to be treated as human beings. I do not see the staff's right to abuse, refuse to provide care or terminate anyone for crying publically.

I called the office a few times trying to schedule and appointment and received no call back. It wasn't until my PCP went online and put in a request for me that I was able to schedule. The visit went well, I scheduled my procedures and was told the results would be available in 7-10 days. Around the 20th day of not having access to my results from a biopsy, I made multiple calls every couple days and no one returned a call. It wasn't until I put in a complaint with Penn Medicine itself that I received a call back. They still haven't updated my portal to reflect my results and they do not have the correct information for my PCP even though I provided that information to them and let them know she was no longer at the practice they have listed for her. Not sure what I need to do to get access to my records since they say to use the portal.

Waited months for my appointment and then it’s gets rescheduled for a different date.

I had an upcoming new patient appointment and received a strange voicemail the other day with concern that I live far from the location and that I needed to call back to confirm my willingness to travel. I don't live around health networks that take my insurance and I see other doctors within Penn Medicine, so I had no problem driving an hour for my appointment. I actually drive well over an hour just to get to my dermatologist in Philly. If the concern was for any subsequent procedure I would have needed, I obviously would've had someone drive me. I was well aware of your address and distance to my house when I booked the appointment. Just extremely odd and off putting. Needless to say, I've cancelled my appointment and will be going elsewhere.

You get better and faster service from the veterans administration than this place! Half the time they hang up on you or it goes to voicemail. It took 3.5 weeks to get my results from a biopsy after the doctor scared me in the or. I learned today from the doctor to use the portal not rely on the office staff. Dr. Kellen Kovalovich is great.

They cancelled my appointment and never bothered to even leave a voicemail message about it.

This place has become pathetic since becoming part of Penn. I have been trying to schedule a routine colonoscopy for a week now with no return phone call. They were excellent prior to becoming part of Penn. U of Penn is truly a pathetic health care organization!

This is the worst medical practice ever! I have been a patient for the last 4 years. However, in the last 2 years, this practice has fallen to terrible lows. I cannot even get anyone on the phone no matter which option I choose. I have been trying to talk to my PA to ask a simple question and yet, the hold times are untenable. No matter what option I choose, the hold times are atrocious. Absolutely Pathetic!

Called this office and the woman on the phone was extremely rude and unhelpful, and hung up the phone on me, no wonder they have less than 2 stars.
