List of Ellis James's Reviews
Very professional and caring. Takes the time to listen and explains things well. Very thorough on treatment plan and next steps.
Dr. Ellis took time to listen to my health history and current concerns. He was very informative of the testing he ordered to obtain a correct diagnosis. I was very irritated that his office didn't inform me earlier that he was running 45 min. late.
I saw Dr. Ellis for a nerve study. I had many questions about the procedure and process and let him know that I was quite anxious. He was thorough in his explanation, patient with my barrage of questions and went through my situation and injury in a careful and precise way. He had his findings to my doctor within a few minutes. I was pleasantly surprised by the entire experience and would highly recommend Dr. Ellis
I am very comforted to be in the care of Dr. Ellis and his staff. Care was efficient and personal. I felt sincerely listened to and guided to healing.
I give Dr Ellis five stars for my appointment. He did a thorough review of my cervical MRI and X-ray and provided an excellent clinical examination, along with recommendations. I would highly recommend him for any pain issue you might be dealing with. Thank you Dr. Ellis! Much appreciated.
30 minute wait after being called into the building. The nurse that called me in never said hello or asked how I was doing. Just followed her to exam room, she asked a few questions then left. Dr Ellis was in pretty quick after that. Said hello but then never talked. I tried to make small talk to take my mind off of the nerve test, it is painful, but he never answered back or attempted to put me at ease. He started the electro shocks without warning. He did tell me before the needle test I would feel a poke. I am sure he knows what he is doing and as a doctor I would give him a good rating, but the entire office was like being in a morgue. Not one friendly person. It just made me feel unimportant and that it was a hassle to have me there.
I had to wait for over an hour to be seen for my scheduled appointment, no apology or explanation was given. The facility was not very clean and in need of repairs. The staff and doctor did not explain the procedure prior to starting and I felt his bedside manner was subpar. They seemed to hurry through my appointment and I did not feel as though I was provided the time I deserved as a patient...not an empowering experience. Definitely would not recommend OAM and do not plan on returning for any of my care.
Very pleasant visit. Answered all my questions and was very professional. Never felt rushed.
Let me first say, I waited over an hour for Dr. Ellis outside after being kicked out of the building not only once but twice. Before even scheduling an appointment I made the girls aware of my severe breathing disability & being unable to wear a mask or shield. I was told I would have no problem. Yet, I arrive to be told to wait outside. Then I’m told by Zack not to return after Victoria is telling me to come back inside. I was then told to wait outside after an hour & a half waiting for Dr. Ellis. No one has heard of Patient Rights at OAM. The girl tried to quote MIOSHA (for workers only) the CDC & State Health Dept as why I couldn’t enter the building even though I’m fully vaccinated. I called the CDC & State Health Department to find out, they should’ve never of turned away a person that’s unable to medically wear something on their face. Don’t try to quote things that aren’t true & stop being afraid of people who have a disability. Your receptionist could learn some manners as well
Dr Ellis was very thorough with a nice bedside manner.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
