Matthew Chester's Online Review Report Card

Had a really tough time during the last year and Covid. Matt was a lifeline to help me and my family get through such a difficult time. He spent as much time as we needed weekly to address our issues not only individually but as a family. I highly recommend him as a therapist and a counselor and someone who truly cares about peoples mental health and best interest. He is the best therapist out there.

Want to say that Matt was a great help to me during her time and he was not only receptive to my questions but came up with a great concept that I was able to use with my family and my work. Therapy wasn't easy but he made it look and sound the best it could be for me and a really hard time in my life. I can't thank him enough for his help and I just want to say some nice things here so other people understand how good he is and how he can help you too.

I worked with Matt for executive function and family dynamics which is a big part of his practice. He was fantastic. I not only learn so much for myself but I was able to use this change at work and with my family at home. My relationship has grown over time to a much better place than it ever was at work I’m able to be ahead of the game which helps not only with my coworkers but also I did receive a raise eventually. I really think Matt is a great guy to work with and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone who knows How to create changes in your life and also when you’re working family. I highly recommend him and thank him for his efforts

Therapy was the best choice of my life and that was the best therapist ever. He saved my family‘s future and help me understand what was going on in my life at a time when I couldn’t on my own. I was not a big fan of therapy until I met him. What a great understanding and explanation of life and how to make changes. I really recommend him and therapy in general.

Found Matt on a website i think psychology today. He set up our initial setting and sat with me for over an hour to hear my entire reason I wanted to come to therapy. He was so caring and made me feel relaxed and so happy I choose him. Matt helped me with my failing marriage and we are now In the best place in years. I was so happy I continued in to more business concepts as Matt also works with executive training and now my work life is much better. My life is in a great place and I have to say therapy was fantastic and I know Matt is there if I need him again. He calls in a life check up. What a super experience and therapist.

I went to Matt at probably my lowest point in my life. I really needed support. Over the course of 3 months I only had a handful of appointments as 36 appointments had been canceled by Matt for "emergencies". I understand that things arise but cancelling so many appointments made it impossible to heal. Some appointments were even cancelled within 10 minutes of the start of the appointment.There were other issues including no insurance coverage, overbilling without providing a bill and HIPAA violations. I wish I knew about these things before opening up to him.For those of you who are looking for help, I warn you to stay away from Matt. I was fortunate enough to find another therapist who helped tremendously. When I told him what I experienced with Matt he was appalled. Please stay away!

Wanted to review my past therapist Matthew Gelber. Matt was someone who worked with me and one of the worst times of my life. I was going through a divorce and he was the only one who understood how to help me understand what I was feeling, how to handle it and looking towards the future. He spent so much time dedicated to helping me understand myself so I could help my kids. I ended up getting divorced and moving into the best part of my life because of Matt. He guided me through such a tough time but it seems so easy with the understanding he had and not only showed me hope but great faith in the future. My kids are in a great position now and I couldn't be happier where I am. I owe it all to him. He has skills that no one else has and I wanted to let other people know how much they can trust him to formulate a plan of action no matter what they're going through in their life. Thank you so much for your help

I met met a few years ago and have worked with him ever cents. He was a wonderful therapist for me and my family. I worked every week at the things that Matt helped him with and I have achieved a much healthier happier life because of him. I’m so proud to say that he was the motivation to make me a better husband and father and I have achieved both. I also enjoy my work and life much more. Thank you Mr. Garber for all of your hard work with me. You’re the best!!

This is the guy! He did the work to really show me the way forward. When he is with you in session he is focused on a plan and direction. I had no idea how helpful therapy would be until I met mr Gelber. He is super and as a dad he knows what family life is all about and he cares more then anyone I’ve ever met in this profession. Simply the best.

Avoid at all costs. Wish I could give 0 stars. Found Matt online. My wife and I were looking for someone who could help us work through some issues after many years of marriage. As we both work during the day and the website says he works evenings, we were hopeful. Unfortunately we learned that he only took appointments during the day and would not even take phone calls. Very disappointing. We left Matt as soon as we could.
