List of Mehjabeen Alam Md's Reviews
Dr. Alam is thorough, professional, and caring. She makes your healthcare a cooperative effort. She has been my physican for several years, and I highly recommend her.
I feel sick to even call her A Dr. and nervous when im there, I should feel comfortable speaking to my doctor. Alam is not understandable at all. I don’t know who gave her license she should have it revoked. I cant get a doctors note until Ima cleared for being sick. I could have lost my job. She sends me to different places and giving me excuses for it. Im willing to equiparate she Does not !!! I do not really recommend at all. if you find your self there run. She sends you to other places so they can make money off you health insurance ! She also stated verbally that everything is fine on my back X-Ray when there is a actually a issue & my X ray shows something wrong with lower s1. I had to call the office for results when usually most offices call you when results are in.
I love Dr. Alam. She is down to earth and honest. She truly cares about her patients. When she needs to, she will quickly send you to a specialist that will help. I am grateful to her and her friendly staff.
I was very happy with Dr. Alam, until I went for x-rays and ultrasound of my knee. The pain was, and still is excruciating. I've waited, and still waiting for Dr. Alam to call me back with results. I've left numerous messages with the staff for Dr. Alam to please give me my results, I'm always told "ok, the Dr. will call you back" ... 2 months later, I'm still waiting. I've switched doctors. At this point, the pain has gotten worse. I am very disappointed, all this while, I could've had something seriously wrong, and I wouldn't know. Now, I have to start all over again with a new doctor. I hope things change, because Dr. Alam is a kind and caring person. It's a shame that she does not follow up with her patients.
Went to this doctor once prescribed pain medicine without finding out the cause of the pain Never again would I come to this poor excuse of a doctor
I have been a patient for 3 years. Highly recommend. Doctor and staff are friendly, professional. My problem have been solve every time
This is by far the worst doc in the tri-state area she is extremely none personable, and very hard to get the staff to answer the phone it seams in the am.
Dr. Alam was my late Dad's physician as well as mine. She is caring, thorough, and is attentive to her patients. She listens to what you have to say, making healthcare a cooperative effort. I had a serious health issue in 2014, and Dr. Alam arranged all testing, referred me to a specialist, and kept in constant contact with both me and the specialist. I am impressed by her, and recommend her highly....
Dr. Alam is a very caring, patient centered and thoroughly competent physician. As my wife's primary care doctor for the past 15 years, we have come to completely trust her to provide excellent care, with exemplary compassion and consideration for the needs of her patients. I would recommend Dr. Alam without hesitation.
The Dr and her office are not very good when it comes to calling in refills when requested. When you call a couple of days early so you don't run out they tell you its too soon. So when you call when your down to your last dose or are out to get it called in to the local pharmacy they either forget or are too busy. So are forced to without. Really not very professional at all.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
