I was referred to Dr. Shalaby by my PCP regarding a lesion on a surgical incision site, where I had a mastectomy 7 yrs ago. Dr. Shalaby immediately said I need surgery to remove the mass around the lesion. His bedside manner was very very poor. No compassion and actually rude. I tried asking about a biopsy before the actual surgery (which my PCP had suggested) and Dr. Shalaby was adamant about doing surgery asap. I will not have surgery by Dr. Shalaby, I will have my oncologist refer me.
