I have used Dr Mittell as my primary physician for the last 9 years and have found him to be both knowledgeable and conscientious. He has selected his staff well and I am confident in all my dealings with them and with him. I am extremely happy to have found him.

Dr. Mittell is our family physician and I could not be more pleased with the care I receive from him and his staff. He offers same day appointments and his front and back office staff are ALWAYS pleasant and helpful to deal with. Dr, Mittell is friendly, caring, and very logical in his approach to his patients. He will actually take the time to personally obtain your medical history and perform an approriate and thorough physicial exam. He will not send you to have unnecessary tests or procedures. He is also very prompt in returning calls and lab results. All physicians in this area are required to use a hospitalist for their patients who are hospitalized - he has no control over that matter.

He has two nurse practiceners that handle the majority of the patients. They are all good physicians, however he does not go to hospitals. He relies on hospitalists who have their own idea how to treat patients. Not very well.
