Ignored me and actually told me to stop talking when I was trying to explain what had led up to my current condition. Told me I have sciatica nothing else. I will never ever go to the stocked her again if I lived to be 500 years old.

I scheduled an appt w Dr King via Zocdoc. Their office called to reschedule for the following week. Well ok but this isn't the way this is supposed to work via Zocdoc but I'm trying to be flexible. In the call they asked what kind of car I drove??? Ok. Well apparently my car was acceptable as they set my appt up. I was asked to arrive 10 min early for paperwork. Ok doc but heads up... the rest of the world is doing this digitally so this could have been accomplished beforehand. The office was a solid 45 min drive but I had read good reviews so was happy to drive. It was explained that I should park by the cones and call when I arrived. The dr would be coming out to my car for the appt. hmmmm.... that just seemed odd but apparently it's their covid work around. I thought about that and will say that I was NOT comfortable with the idea of a strange man jumping into my car, especially as this was my first appt with this doc. How thorough can he be??? So appt day... cleaned the car up for company and headed out. Unfortunately the traffic gods were not on my side and I was delayed about 10 min. As I'm driving like crazy to get there I get a call 10 min before I'm due. The office is checking to see if I'm on my way. Yes I'm almost there!! In ten min I get another call which I couldn't answer and still drive safely. They called again immediately!! Now I'm one min away and it's 11:00, my appt time. The office girl informs me that the dr is cancelling my appt since I wasn't there 15 min early and will now be 2 min late for my appt. seriously!!!!!!!! My mind was blown!!! I explained that there had been an accident and that I was within a min of arriving. Also that I had driven an HOUR to get there. They started to ask me if I wanted to reschedule!!! Seriously KAREN!!! NO. As I'm driving back home I realized that I'm glad this appt didn't happen. I am not comfortable with a strange man who is visiting with sick people climbing into my car. This is just this practice being lazy and selfish. They didn't offer to come out and sterilize my car after the appt but I'm sure it saved them having to sterilize their office. Unless this doc wears a hazmat suit and goes thru a complete scrub down he's just jeopardizing my health. I'd rather suck on the pens at the pharmacy window. So I didn't actually see this md and I am GRATEFUL!

The ONLY good thing about Kurt King & his office is the front desk ladies (very nice)! As for King & associates-disgustingly UNPROFESSIONAL, rude, smug, highly insensitive! All 4x's seeing HIM, made me feel like I was bothering him, no "hello's/how r u?", sits down & says "what do u need..I'm not treating u for that, that's beyond my realm of expertise...what else do u want?" As he sits there staring at me awkwardly. I'm not sure whether he had a botox treatment that morning cuz he has the personality of a wet rag, horrible bed side manner! How come I was even giving an appointment when u refuse to treat me for the condition I have?...oh yea I get it..$$$, that's what its alllll about...who else is going to pay for that botox (us/"patients")?!?! In all of my 30+ years, have i EVER encountered such a miserable, rude, unsympathetic doctor that talked down & treated me so horribly. Hes a nasty human being, that should NOT be practicing in the field of medicine...stay AWAY PLEASE STAY CLEAR OF THIS OFFICE!!!! MIND YOU KING & HIS OFFICE ACTUALLY RECEIVES ZERO STARS!!!!!!!

Dr. King has been my doctor for a number of years. He has always taken his time and been very attentive. And his medical treatment has been excellent! No problems whatsoever.

I hesitate to return to the Waterdam Family Practice although I have been a patient there for many years. I had a very horrible experience with him. He is downright abusive. Although I really like the ability to have same day appointments, I always fear he will be the only doc available. I can understand why he would be the only one available if he treats all his patients the way I was treated. Someone mentioned his looks. After spending any time at all with him, you will no longer even consider his looks as appealing.

Dr. King seems more interested in being cocky and arrogant than the overall well-being of his patients. He has the worst bed side manner, seems put off by having to listen to patient concerns, and does the bare minimum before shoving you out the door.

Dr. King has been a wonderful addition to this practice, and he is actually now the doctor I prefer to see. He is kind, personable, and has been willing to do what it takes to help me. I'm really shocked at some of these other reviews. Dr. king is wonderful!

Is it possible to rate someone with zero stars? He is rude and arrogant. He refused to send me for an endoscope when I repeatedly asked. I have severe acid reflux. I asked him to prescribe meds for it and was told to get something over the counter. As a result I now have Barret's Esophagus. He really should not be practicing medicine.

Quite unimpressed with Kurt King- I marveled at how well he was able to diagnose me and then dismiss my concerns regarding the steady increase in my back pain due to disc degeneration without asking any questions or looking at my MRI or ortho report. This man possesses little bedside manner or genuine concern for a patient. He seems to be stubborn and not willing to change his mind no matter what you tell him. King is new to this practice and how I wish now that I would have requested Dr. Mittell. I have no plans to return which is unfortunate because the office staff and medical techs were so warm, professional and welcoming to me as a new patient. If you have any pain or discomfort at all, just avoid this one. Complete waste of my time.

I would not recommend him to anyone. He is rude and uncaring. For some reason he will not refer patients to specialists when needed. He refused to order the tests needed to monitor my illness. So happy that I switched to another doctor. I regret that I did not do it sooner.
