List of Medexpress Urgent Care's Reviews
This place is the best. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, very little wait time. I am so happy I live close to a Med Express!
I was seen for COVID-19. The CRNP I saw (David Connell) was amazing. He didn't make me feel rushed, answered all of my questions, listened to my concerns, and made me feel very included in my treatment plan. Excellent bedside manner as well.
Dr. Guy Avolio was my physician and I wish I could rate him higher. He is caring and listens to everything you have to say. He will even ask if there is anything else he could help you with or give advice for. He was calm, patient, understanding, and a nice guy.
Amazing staff and drs. Thank you.
They followed up several times to make sure I was improving.
Great people
I came to Med Express due to a rash over my entire body. After waiting about 15 minutes, I was called into pre-exam room. After explaining and opening my shirt to reveal chest full of splotches, I was taken into exam round. A P.A. Michelle came in and quickly diagnosed my issue - allergic reaction to something. She said not to try to analyze what caused the rash; could have been anything. Michelle was down to earth, very pleasant, straight forward with remedy, and had a sense of humor. She made the visit pleasurable, even though I had an issue.
Check in was easy. Staff was very pleasant. We loved the doctor! He said everyone calls him Guy. Very easy to talk to and really listened.
this is a terrible place. The staff is beyond horrible here. They don’t care one bit about your needs it is it eight to 8 o’clock job for them and that is it when that clock comes they just want to get out the door very selfish people none of them should be in the medical field. If all they care about themselves I’m sitting here having chest pains and they want to say it’s a waste of my time when I’m not from the area and the closest hospital don’t even take my insurance. You couldn’t even check my heart rate and my blood pressure real quick and give me an aspirin. No care in the world from this place here and I would expect more coming from peters township I will be getting a hold of the supervisor for the very unprofessional way of handling things and then making comments thinking I wouldn’t hear them.
I wish I could give a zero star rating. This is the second unprofessional experience I’ve had at this location. Both times, my paperwork was incorrect, causing issues with my employer. This time, I was made to wait in the lobby while bleeding profusely, while other walk-in patients who arrived later were seen before me. I was made to take multiple drug/alcohol tests before being treated and having my wound looked at. The manners and professionalism of the healthcare workers was extremely poor. I feel that my pain was disregarded while my wound was being treated. They seemed more concerned about profiling me for a drug test rather than bandaging my bleeding hand.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
