List of Jeffrey A. Matzoni's Reviews
Dr. Matzoni is engaged and takes time with his patients. He doesn't just rush through visits and writes scripts. As well, his nurse, Katrina, is very informative and caring. This is a great team!
Dr Matzoni and Katrina are the best! The whole office operates in an efficient and caring manner. I do miss being able to call directly. 🤷🏾♀️
Doctor Matzoni is a caring, competent and professional doctor. He has been my doctor for many years. His nurse, Katrina is amazing. My only complaint has to do with the fact that I can no longer contact his office staff directly, must, instead, go through the Geisinger message center where, unfortunately, things have been miscommunicated back to Dr. Matzoni and/or his staff, from time to time.
My entire family sees this doctor and he has been nothing but professional, personable and very thorough in treatments and diagnosis. Cannot imagine going to anyone else and having this type of care!
This is not the Dr to see if you are legitimately ill. I came to this dr from the ER to follow up treatment for a pretty severe bacterial infection. The treatment I received from the ER was the only care I received. The antibiotics to clear up the infection were really hard on me. I was vomiting and going bathroom constanly. The muscles in my back were spasming and pinching nerves and I was getting the most awful migraines I've ever had. This 'dr' literally did nothing for me. I told him I can't keep the meds down he said you have to. I told him I'm having severe pain that I've ended in the ER for twice and he said take tylenol but not too much because it's messing up your stomach. I told him I'm having tremors and I'm very scared he said yea it's probably just anxiety. When I first came in he asked what I was there for and I told him why I was there. I said you should have my records (I had checked with the ER and his staff to make sure they had all my records). He laughed at me and said "you know we don't". This was just a humiliating experience for me. I begged this man for relief and he literally avoided me when I'd come into his office. He'd always send his nurse to deal with me.
I've had three visit already. Follow up from the ER; lyme positive. The lyme was bad enough that it was causing tremors, triggering very painful migraines, causing the muscles in my back to spasm etc. The doxy was causing me to vomit almost daily. This 'dr' would not provide me any types of prescription for my comfort while the doxy worked. Refused to give me anything for nausea or pain or anxiety. I called his office crying from the pain terrified because I was having panic attacks and he did nothing. When I returned after three days of begging him for relief he just smiled at me the whole visit. He blamed his staff for my not getting proper care in a timely fashion (twice). He feigned ignorance about my insurance company denying the one thing he called in to my pharmay. Cvs denied it because i was given the same thing at urgent care. When I asked why he would not prescribe me any thing else he said he could get in trouble. How can a dr get in trouble for treating a patient with an illness? This 'dr' doesn't care about your well being. His nurse takes my blood and he refers me to real doctors. One of the things he was more than willing to throw at me was prozac. How is that not irresponsible. He is not able to answer questions he just goes into 'I don't know', this is bad, that is good. He doesn't discuss options or take any input you provide about how you own body reacts ro certain treatments.
Best Dr. you could ever ask for..He is the BEST ...

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
