Dr Duda is absolutely wonderful with children. My child has Tourettes (which she studied under Dr. Berlin who speciializes in that) and my son loves her. She is conservative as far as pushing meds and returns e-mails and phone calls promptly. She not only talks to the parents but engages with the child and gets the child to open up on how she/he feels. She has been following my son since 1st grade and when his symptoms got worse, we only started medication at the end of 4th grade. She explains meds and side effects to look for and does not look at the watch when she is with the patient. While it may throw her a little off schedule, when she's in the room with your child, your child is her only focus which is the way it should be. She has a real love for children and realizes my and my hubands concern with overmedicating our child. She is a true testament to what a pediatrician should be. While she has much experience with Tourettes, I heard she is wonderful with all children!
