List of Salina Bari's Reviews
I was placed on Dr. Bari's schedule after the nurse practitioner I had previously seen left the practice. Upon meeting me, Dr. Bari was frustrated that I was added as her patient and did not hide her irritation. I was requesting an updated physical for an adoption and Dr. Bari initially told me that she "did not know me" and was unsure if she "could recommend me as an adoptive parent because her license was on the line." She then proceeded to tell me that I failed to follow-through on appointments (not true as my previous provider had left the practice) and repeatedly said she was not sure she could help me. I then mentioned that my mother-in-law saw her and Dr. Bari's entire demeanor changed. She then told me that we were "good people" and she'd have "no problem" completing the physical. She then stated that it was a "big misunderstanding." I would not recommend Dr. Bari.
I really like Dr Bari. She is kind and caring and listens and acts on my concerns. Highly recommend.
I am in the process of leaving this practice for reasons of incompetence by the staff. They take days to return a call leaving me to visit the ER instead. I was recently involved in a serious car accident and sustained injuries that are very painful. I called to get some pain relief and waited 5 days for a call. They called while I was working and when I called back. I was 49th in queue. How can they sustain their business with such shoddy treatment of patients. Shameful
After several years with Dr. Bari, I finally fired her. She makes hasty diagnoses without all the information. She said I had kidney disease. I do not. I have complex liver disease. She treated my Psoriasis as ringworm for several years. There are multiple misdiagnoses. At our final visit together, I inquired about ongoing health concerns she discounted over time. Her response to my questions: "I have done nothing wrong". When she left exam room, she turned and said, “You are bipolar and need to get help.”. (That’s quite a bombshell to drop on someone.) I clinically confirmed that I am not bipolar. My times with her were often riddled with shameful and embarrassing comments toward my life, which would regularly make me cry in front of her. She would often berate me about being "noncompliant". What I needed was guidance about Diabetes, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Dermatology, etc. She compared her patients to her own children, and their lack of discipline. This ended one year ago. I now have individual care providers for my medical needs who have corrected her misdiagnoses and are now playing catch up with my life. I sincerely believe that her current patients’ charts should be reviewed by her superiors.
I read the reviews on this site and, despite that, made an appointment with Dr. Bari. I found her to be very thorough, having asked me multiple times if there was anything else I wanted to talk about. I like the fact that she is not a pill pusher and is very knowledgeable about natural remedies. There may be a little bit of a language barrier, but I feel we communicated well. I feel confident that she is taking good care of me.
She is so rude and most arrogant doctor that I have ever seen in past 10 yrs. I left my appointment almost in tear. It is really hard for her to understand patients concerns. She listens to you but hear what she likes and then start to criticize you and brag about her reputation (if she has any). It seems I am not the only person who decided to change the provider and still wondering why the management doesn't care about the issue. Not just changing her, I changed the medical center as well.
Worst doctor that I have ever encountered. Extremely rude. Does not listen to the patient and only talks without understanding what patient is talking about. I read some bad reviews about here in other website and I regret I did not believe them. I will definitely change my provider.

Can't give zero stars so she gets 1. She is rude, dismissive & didn't even address any of my concerns in a serious manner. I left my appointment nearly in tears. She was insulting & degrading regarding my concerns. She even went so far as to say my insurance wouldn't cover any tests, even to rule out cancer so she recommend I sit up straight, take Tylenol & do PT for my chronic kidney pain. Horrible, horrible bedside manner. Would never recommend her to anyone.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
