William Bohonyi's Online Review Report Card

I have had a wonderful experience with Dr Bohonyi and his entire staff over the years. Dr B is knowledgeable and professional and has always addressed my concerns and made me feel comfortable at my appointments. He has been great for annuals, hospital delivery, and postpartum. I would highly recommend him for all your obgyn needs.

After having four children in different states (military), I have met my fair share of OB/GYN‘s. However, none of them even compare to how amazing Dr. Bohonyi is with his patients. I wish I would’ve had him with all of my pregnancies. I can see why SEVERAL of my friends referred me to his office. If you are looking for an OB/GYN who is experienced, compassionate, personal, and takes the time to address all of your questions, then Dr. Bohonyi is the doctor for you. I was blown away with his bedside manner, the professionalism of his staff, and the ease of the appointment. I have never had such a great experience with an OB/GYN office in my life.

Outstanding care by Dr. Bohonyi and his staff. I could not ask for better care, his bedside manner is outstanding, his expertise shows in his care of his patients, including limiting the usage of opioid prescriptions. His staff are the best. These are reasons why I have been a patient for many years even after moving back to Central PA. I continue to refer patients to him who are in awe of his care.

My advice is to find a different doctor. He is probably one of the worst doctors I have ever had. He minimizes your concerns, is very rough during exams, makes you feel rushed and does the bare minimum to assist you. This has occurred on multiple occasions and was not an isolated incident. Sure the staff is amazing, but that doesn’t make up for such a bad provider. Other professionals have even expressed to me that Dr. Bohonyi has a poor reputation in the medical community. I wish I would have know from the beginning.

Dr Bohonyi has been my doctor for over 20 years. There is a reason. He is takes his time, incredible patient care and if there is a diagnosis that is out of his realm of expertise he will gladly refer a patient. Staff is extremely knowledgeable and makes you feel important.

I love the practice and especially Dr. Heller but Dr. Bohonyi is awful. I am leaving the practice because all of my experiences with him have been negative. He was rough with my body, has no bedside manners, is sarcastic, submitted my prescription incorrectly on a Friday and would not correct it over the weekend because he “only responds to surgical patient prescriptions over the weekend” despite my extreme discomfort and potential harm to my baby. I would strongly encourage women to seek a different provider, as they make you sign a paper that you must be willing to see all of the doctors, not just your preferred while pregnant.

Once he has his mind set on what course of action to take, there’s no changing it. Even if you are uncomfortable. Even if you would really prefer the other, safer option. He is bullheaded and will bully you into doing what he wants, no matter what YOU want.

I saw Dr. Bohonyi when I was pregnant with my twins as part of my regular care. He was kind and funny. He and the other two doctors who provided care for my twin pregnancy were awesome, and I am the happy mom of two happy kids today.

I  regret choosing to be in the care of Dr.Bohonyi and the Cumberland Valley office. I was hospitalized when I was 7 weeks pregnant due to vaginal bleeding, and cramping. Two days after being released from the hospital (Monday) I followed up with my primary doctor (which was Dr. Bohonyi).  I was unable to see the doctor, since I didnt have an appointment. I was counseled by one of the nurses (Angel). I told her I felt ill and was still bleeding and cramping. After reviewing the hospital records Angel reassured everything was good. I asked Angel if I qualified for FMLA, since my job was very physically demanding and I was unable to preform my job duties. Angel said the office does not like to give expecting mothers FMLA, since being pregnant isn't a reason to call off work. I was not looking for a reason to call off work, I had severe pains and bleeding. Since my job requires me to travel, I feared I would  be hospitalized again this time it would be out of state or out of the country.
