Sometimes a long wait, but extremely thorough which offsets the wait.

Dr. Balin doesn't accept my current insurance. This is a problem because I'm in need of this services. I have a cyst on the back of my left leg above the knee that needs to be removed. The last time I was there patients had been waiting at least 2 hours past their appointment. This is unacceptable! Dr Balin treated me back in the 1990's and there was no long wait time and he saved my life. Now I have to search for a dermo who'll accept my insurance. Wish me luck!

Excellent!! My previous Dermatologist did not listen or act on my concerns, so I Went to visit Dr Balin. He was extremely thorough and found 8 areas that were concerning. (Three weeks before at the previous dermatologist only 2 were found. ) I am so thankful I found Dr Balin. I encourage anyone who is not getting proper care or not satisfied with their present doctor, PLEASE MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WITH DR BALIN!

This doctor has zero respect for people’s time. I have experienced hours long waits for scheduled appointments. I would give a minus one if this was a thing. Very very disrespectful.

I have been a patient of Dr. Balin for over 30 years. Approximately 18 years ago I had an experience where an outside lab made a horribly wrong diagnosis that would lead me to an early demise. Dr. Balin did not believe the results and ordered that additional samples be analyzed by a highly respected hospital. At all times Dr. Balin was in my corner! Happily he was able to assure me that all was well and under control. That problem is far behind me now thanks to Dr. Balin. Yes, sometimes there is a wait, but I will wait for anybody who has my best interest in mind. Good things come to those who wait!!! The staff is totally committed to the practice and to the patients. I truly feel that I have some very good highly competent friends tending to me as a patient. The nurses under the guidance of Nurse Pat Nash are truly top notch! I will continue to see Dr. Balin for my medical care.

Dr. Balin is a consummate professional. He treats many patients with severe melanoma in addition to a myriad of other dermatological issues. He considers the mental, emotional and spiritual state of the patient. He listens and suggests holistic healing techniques to supplement the diverse surgeries he performs. The wait times may be longer than at most health care providers, but his staff will assist people with scheduling and arrival modifications whenever possible. He also does alternate treatments such as acupuncture and laser applications to name just a few. I am very pleased with his practice over the last 15 years.

I have to apparently explain to the patients who go to Dr Balin who he really is. Dr Balin is a world renowned Dermatologist. I have gone to him since i was 16. I'm 53 years old. His wait times are long yes. But he does a thorough exam and he is brilliant. He started out at Rockefeller plaza in New York City. Dr. Balin had an office in Chester for years to help those with less income who may not get the best medical care. He has written books and is a pioneer in the realm of Dermatology. I can go on forever about how wonderful Dr Balin is especially since he cured my mother 40 years ago of skin cancer. He may be blunt sometimes. You may have to wait. You my friend a waiting to be seen by a superstar. Stop being entitled. The wait is usually because some person has been found to have cancerous spots. Or is having a specialized treatment done. He is only one man. He works from early in the morning till late at night. You all should be honored he will see you!!

Dr. Balin has been supporting my oncology and dermatology issues for more than 20 years. In this time I have relied on his extensive expertise in all field of his practice (note his many and varied credentials!). Dr. Balin provides clear guidance for treatment and fully explains the actual medical outcomes for recovery. I am confident that when I leave after treatment at his Sally Balin Medical Center, my "sun damaged" lesions have been completely removed and appropriately repaired. I must add that Dr. Balin's nursing and administrative teams are excellent in the services they deliver! I also have no problem waiting my turn for my own treatment, knowing that other patients are getting the care they need... well worth the wait for Dr. Balin's medical care!

Our family is prone to skin cancer. Our immediate family and many of our extended family members have been Dr. Balin's patients over the last 25 years. All of us who have chosen to follow his treatment plans are still alive, including my spouse, whom Dr. Balin rescued in 1997 from the clutches of melanoma, the most aggressive form of skin cancer. At that time I didn't know of any 5-year melanoma survivor and thought surely I was facing early widowhood with young children still at home. Dr. Balin is Board Certified in numerous specialties; this alone speaks to a vast knowledge -base. We are beneficiaries of the brilliance of his intellect and his stellar skills in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer. Those patients who value his expertise are grateful for his help and are willing to wait to see him, knowing that when it is our turn he will give each of us his unhurried careful attention, just like he gave those who were being served while we waited. I have never had a Doctor as Good as Dr. Balin . The work he did on me was amazing , when staples and stitches were removed you couldn't see a scar . Great work , the office staff and the Nurses were all Professional and Courteous. Doctor Balin explained everything to me in terms I could understand. Made me feel in was in Excellent Hands which I was. I can not say enough about my Treatment and Care at Dr.Balin's Office , about his staff. I recommend Dr. Balin to anyone who is in need of a Dermatologist . And I've told most of my Friends and all My Family and shown them the results what a Great Job, Dr. Balin did on me......
