Dr. Halpern was knowledgeable and caring. I had been a patient of BMMSA for over 12 years. I don’t believe they were forthright with me so I went to a new provider. Make sure you receive an after patient visit summary after every appointment…very important.

He is a great doctor, very nice, knowledgeable and caring. He has removed a couple of pre cancer things for me and is fast and smooth in his approach. His assistant Rachel is lovely and sweet and cares about your feelings. Her lidocaine shots are pretty much pain free! The staff will help you with aftercare if you can't reach the spot to sanitize and dress it to keep you safe from any problems.

Nobody likes going to a doctor but Dr. Halpern and his staff make it as nice as possible. He is calm, easy going, very competent and well respected by his staff and his peers. I have no hesitation in highly recommending him.

He was very nice to me at our first meeting. He did the scraping to make sure the skin cancer cells were gone and he got it all the first time. He did the surgery on my scalp with ease and it came out perfect. I had the stitches taken out two days ago, it looks great, even tiny hairs are growing near the wound. I will have a good cover in no time. I am recommending Dr Halpern to anyone who needs the Mohs surgery.

Dr. Halpern was respectful, informative, caring, professional and warm. He took the time to answer questions. His procedure was careful; he explained every step of the way. He called me that night to check on me. He is an excellent doctor, instilling confidence in this patient that I was in the right hands--safe and excellent.

This was my second MOHS surgery performed by Dr Halpern. I had previously experienced other MOHS surgeries when I lived in Florida so I had a basis for comparison. Dr Halpern is very kind and gives a complete explanation of the procedure and always allows time to answer all of my questions thoroughly. He is a great listener and is very caring. Dr Halpern called me personally the evening of both procedures to check on my well being. His assistant Margie is top notch. Highly recommend Windsor Dermatology for MOHS skin cancer surgery.
