Nemours Children's Health System's Online Review Report Card

Love this practice. Friendly front desk and best doctors and nurses. Ive never had an issue getting an appointment scheduled or getting medical advice from the nurse line. Dr. Roa has been there for our children since birth and treats us like family. Shes a great confident doctor and has always made me feel comfortable....especially when I was a new mom.

This doctor’s office is absolutely horrible when it comes to caring for sick children. My one year old had a severe ear infection and fever. He was seen at the urgent care where a follow up was recommended. The child was up all night with a cold fever and relentless nausea. As a result we were 14 mins late for the appointment which is within their 15 mins late policy. The office turned us away a child that has regularly been seen at their practice was turned away despite a spiking fever and ear infection because we were not on time DESPITE clear instructions from urgent care. NONE of these people apparently know what it is like to deal with a sick one year old and how parents can be late given excruciating circumstances.Out of respect for other patients we called multiple times to inform the office we were going to be a few minutes late but no one answered. I showed the staff our attempted calls on my phone but to no avail.YOUR CHOICE as a parent boils down to a simple decision if you want a practice that will care for your child and not show you the door hiding behind a silly policy during COVID steer clear of these people.IF ANYONE at Nemours is reading this please get in touch with me I will furnish details of the attempts we made to contact the office the state my child was in and how rude the office staff was. Being 14 mins late still puts us within your policy of tardiness so even if you lack empathy your staff should be trained to respect your very policies. I hope someone in a position to do something about this reads this review and initiates a corrective action.I write this in the hopes that this serves as a warning for other parents and SOMEONE at Nemours reads this to teach the staff that they are a Pediatric Clinic and not just a moneyminting enterprise.

Very caring safe and Dr. Rao is the best doctor parents could ask for

Absolutely no empathy practiced at this clinic. They overbook schedules and honestly play a numbers game to maximize profits.Same day sick appointments are referred to urgent care because the doctors are overbooked How is this an acceptable practice for a Primary care provider especially for infants.This team is only good for your runofthemill inoculations and well visits. The first sign of issues results in misdiagnosis or a recommendation to go to an ER or urgent care center. Disappointed in their capabilities to say the least.Dr. Siu is about the only silver lining in this practice. He is both capable and empathetic but he is only one of many doctors at this facility leaving the overall experience significantly below par.Avoid if you can.
