Dr Berkley has her moments when she is friendly but if you ask questions she gets defensive. My mother had breast cancer, after a lumpectomy and radiation she was due for mammogram. I asked for a 3D mammo which is the standard of care. Her staff told me she said it was bot necessary and that if regular mammo showed it indicated then she could go back for the 3D. Mom has trouble walking, go back? It never should have been a struggle! The nurse mailed me a copy of the message, it was just plain rude and arrogant. I called the breast surgeon in Johnstown who gladly sent the order and confirmed they always want 3D mammo after breast cancer. Dr Berkley doesn’t keep up to date with current medical treatment and I would not recommend.

Dr. Berkley is personable and patient. She takes the time to explain and educate. The staff is friendly there and I get in and out pretty quickly.

Her staff is amazingly incompetent. They were told how to properly bill the insurance [by the insurance company] and still refuse to do it. At least the collection agency was professional.

Dr Berkley's staff are horrible and rude. They forgot to bill my insurance for 2 years and refuse to do anything about it. They are trying to charge me full price. I have had to report this to the state of Pennsylvania. My last visit with Dr Berkley had her yelling at me and leaving the exam room without addressing my health issues. Her staff dared me to report them to the State of Pennsylvania regarding their practices. I have documentation of all of my claims.

Dr Berkley's staff cannot file a simple PCP visit claim with your insurance. They turn around and try to charge you full price for your visit. Beware of her and the Meyersdale clinic. I have documentation to show anyone

My experience with Dr Ashley Berkley was horrible. Her billing department forgot to bill my insurance for 2 years. Now they refuse to try to bill them are trying to collect from me. My last visit with Dr Berkley had her yelling at me and leaving the exam room without answering my questions. Unprofessional. I have documentation to back up my claims.
