Outstanding doctor diagnosed my condition minutes after looking at my papers This is the best doctor I have ever Would recommend to anyone

Dr. Abdurab Aziz is a most remarkable and superior cardiologist in the Pittsburgh, PA area. He had been my husband’s cardiologist for over 30 years and ALWAYS WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND! In spite of my husband’s many medical problems and multiple hospital admissions thru the years, Dr. Aziz would always appear at his hospital room door with a smile, kind words, and a treatment solution to get my husband home again (when the attending drs. had difficulty with dx.). Dr. Aziz was, indeed my dear husband’s hero, and we will always be grateful to the amazingly gifted Dr. Aziz for his expertise in the unbelievable care for over 30 years he extended to my beloved husband, Wayne A. Scholar on March 8, 2020. I thank Dr Aziz IMMENSELY (for being there with us) even for his daily ICU presence during the entire most difficult week before my beloved passed. Words cannot express how thankful we are to the superb Dr. Aziz. He is to be commended for his excellent medical service to his patients.

I've been a patient of Dr. Aziz for over 35 years. He is an excellent doctor and spends a lot of time during my visits to the office. He is knowledgeable and caring. His staff are well-trained professionals and I highly recommend him.

I was referred to Dr Aziz from my PCP due to 30 bpm pulse. We briefly reviewed my history (59 yr old, very fit, no family history of heart disease) and that my PCP ordered blood tests including Lyme disease. He was adamant that my condition was degenerative (not Lyme related), and sent me to the hospital for a pacemaker. The EP at the hospital decided on a temporary pacemaker and to wait to for the Lyme result. My Lyme result was positive (but uncertain due to a previous infection) so I was put on IV antibiotics. The EP told me that my heart condition was likely due to Lyme, but the only way to be certain would be a positive response to antibiotics. The day after my positive Lyme result, Dr Aziz told me that he was still certain it was degenerative and that I would be getting a pacemaker. As it turns out, I've fully recovered with antibiotic treatment. I have no doubt that if Dr Aziz had been in charge throughout, that I'd currently have a pacemaker and a raging case of Lyme.
