This whole Place is great, the staff is caring and the receptionist is 5 stars . First time with Dr. Smolar and I have to say he is worthy of 5 stars. He's caring, listens to my worries, very professional but on the other hand you get the feeling he's your next door neighbor. I trust his decisions which is very important to me. Great doctor, seriously if you have a problem go see him you won't be disappointed.

He told me to use a walker. I arrived at the next appointment using a walker. He asked me why. He can't remember his own directions.

Dr. Smolar is awesome! During my visits, he listens, answers all questions, never makes me feel like he is rushing through my visit. Always agreeable to trying new options to help me if I need. I have never had a wait time of more than a few minutes. The staff is wonderful.

I am not normally one to leave reviews, but after relying heavily on patient reviews to find a doctor, I wanted to be sure to let others know about the quality of care I received at my visit. Dr. Smolnar was so kind and attentive; he explained everything that he was doing during my testing and his tech was beyond wonderful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Dr. Smolnar and his staff and am beyond satisfied with my visit.

Unlike two other neurologists in this office Dr. Smolar is very respectful and attentive to me. He listens and does thorough examinations. I highly recommend Dr. Smolar to everyone who needs the care of a neurologist.

I was able to make an appointment very quickly. The staff was friendly. The doctor made me feel like he was sympathetic about my symptoms. Additionally, the (optional) online system for patients is helpful for quick responses to questions for the doctor and a summary of the appointment.

I have been seeing Dr. Smolar for 15 years and he has always been courteous and worked with me to find the most effective medication for me. He is friendly and spends as much time with me as I need. He has helped me tremendously in dealing with a very painful condition.

Terrible doctor! He spent less than 10 minutes during my visit at St. Margaret hospital. He didn't listen to my concerns. He never gave me an answer to the symptoms and pain I was having. What kind of neurologist is this doctor? He was more concern to send me for an MRI. After spending $600 of my pocket on the MRI he couldn't give me an answer for my pain. I went for a second opinion and they were able to tell me right away by the symptoms I was having. The MRI wasn't a necessary test and was totally a waste. Avoid this doctor and the staff. They never called me back to go over the results. I had to wait almost 3 weeks to reach the doctor and took like 3 phone calls to his nurse.
