East Suburban Ophthalmic Associates's Online Review Report Card

I wouldn’t recommend Dr. Charles Hrach. He was the on call doctor this weekend and I had called him to fax in a prescription to a local Walmart vision center as my contacts ripped and I was not able to see without them, while trying to take care of my one year old. He called in the prescription to the Walmart and they needed a fax, and he used the inappropriate language on the phone with them which was uncalled for. After calling him again to fax it, he said that he’s away from a fax and can’t do it. I had told him that this is a medical concern for me as I am away for the long weekend and don’t have any contacts. He also was rude to me on the phone and hung up the phone which was uncalled for as a professional. As an on call professional, you should be able to handle the needs of the patients which he was not capable of doing. He had no professionalism and disrespected multiple people. I plan to find a new place to get my vision services taken care of. Anyone who is thinking of going to this practice or going to this doctor, think twice. They need to get with the times and being assistance to patients when they are in need.

Dr. Wincko and the entire staff is very reassuring and competent. I was so comforted about my cataract surgery and it proceeded without a hitch. Thanks so much Grace Ann Bray

Dr. Wincko was one of the most kind and caring doctors I’ve ever seen and was very reassuring and thorough. Scheduling an appointment was also very easy and the other staff were very pleasant and nice!

I called to schedule an appointment for my brother in law and was pleasantly surprised to have the phone answered quickly by a professional staff! No technology involved! My call was handled quickly by a professional staff member!

Having eye problems and PCP wanted me to see them . Earliest appointment is 31/2 months away ! Had cataract surgery when Dr. Ciganette was there , he was Fantastic.

Called on 10/1/2020 to see how I can go about scheduling injured workers. The lady who answered the phone "Lyn" did not have the greatest attitude. She was very short and quite nasty to be honest. We will send our business elsewhere. I'm sure the doctors are excellent however the greeting I received made me feel unsettled.

Dr Wincko is an exceptional opthomologist. I would recommend him to anyone. He is very caring, he takes his time, explains everything, he is just overall a great doctor. The staff at East Suburban are great as well. Thank you for the great care you gave me.

Dr. Wincko is great and the care my mom receives there is wonderful. However only 4 stars due to the handicap accessibility. There is a very steep ramp and no automatic doors to get into the office. It is a struggle to get her in there every visit. When I asked the front desk when they would get accessible doors I was told it wasn't likely. I asked how people without a companion in a wheelchair get in the doors and she stated we encourage everyone to come with someone. That is not a solution. No everyone can get someone to go with them to their appointments.
