I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND DR.IRVING GOTTFRIED,I HAVE BEEN UNDER HIS CARE SINCE MARCH 2020. NOTHING HE PRESCRIBED OR RECCOMMENDED HAS WORKED FOR MY HEALTH CONDITION.. I HAVE NEVER SEEN HIM IN PERSON. MY CONDITION IS GETTING WORST AND HE DOES NOT SEEM TO HAVE A CLUE AS WHAT TO DO. I WILL PROBABLY NEED TOSEEK PROFESSIONAL HELP WITH ANOTHER DOCTOR..

Due to bleeding ulcer, I had to have an endoscopy and colonoscopy at the same time. Dr. Gottfried was wonderful and treated/solved my problem with great skill. True, his bedside manor is not warm and fuzzy, but he is an excellent gastroenterologist. I’ve recommended him to friends and family.

He and staff were ver professional and kind. I’m 67 with on pain but was injured from the colonoscopy procedure in that I suffered a sprained my right back. I must have been bent or pushed out of sort. 5 days later only my hip is severely painful. Ask them to be very gentle with your old but pain free body

Worst bedside manner. I make or take jokes to make things comfortable.Even worse, the man is very pretentious. He can't stand it when other doctors or his PA make decisions for him. I was supposed to be on at least a liquids diet (told a low fat diet by his PA that morning) and without any warning he had them take my lunch tray and starve me since he hadn't seen me yet to put in the order himself. WHY DID HE SEND HIS PA, THEN? Guess who I'm going to tell Forbes to bill for that lunch? Certainly he can afford it on his massive doctor salary.

He is very knowledgeable and found the root of my issues after seeing many doctors. He has a very dry personality but takes time to listen and let you ask questions Very thorough

This doctor ruined my sister's life. He botched an endoscope on her, coming into the room afterword and saying "I didn't do it!" Since the botched endoscope, my sister has had multiple strokes and a dozen or so ministrokes. She's been in the hospital every couple of months and suffers from tremors, migraines, pretty much everything. Worse, the hospital held on to its records to cover it up. And it all stems back to the botched endoscope by "Dr. Horrible" as she calls him. Don't go to him!
