Terrible experience. They had my initial appointment they prescribed stockings and said my future procedure would be sent to insurance. I called before my scheduled appointment for my vein procedure and inquired if the insurance was covering what I needed done they said yes. So I leave work early to come get my procedure done after I spent 100 dollars on prescription stockings and the receptionist with a snotty attitude says “ ya your insurance denied it. So sorry”... are you kidding me Not only did I miss work they had zero communication and the doctor came out and said he tried to do a peer to peer right before I came and it got denied. So they knew ahead of time it was denied and let me miss work and come in on the hopes they could get it overturned right before my appointment.Worst experience ever...

Ive been visiting Dr. Louis Certos vein clinics since the 1980s. A couple of times visiting the Altoona clinic I got only cosmetic results with less than competent PAs not the good stuff. However my latest series of treatments with Dr. Certo HIMSELF at two different sites in the Pittsburgh area was EXCELLENT. He really knows what hes doing and does it well. He did very effective treatments on both my legs using techniques I had never been exposed to at any of the other vein clinics. The ache is gone in my left leg that had a nasty defective vein and I feel so much more energized without that nagging toothachey feel in legs caused by wornout veins. I recommend Dr. Louis Certos treatment with no reservations.
