List of Advanced Pain Medicine Pc's Reviews
I contacted this office after moving from Wisconsin to Pennsylvania to continue my Botox treatment for severe TMJ, which is medically necessary and fully covered by my insurance. Before scheduling, I clearly explained my situation and was reassured that this was something they could help with. Based on that assurance, I paid for a consultation. When I arrived, the doctor told me they only perform Botox as a cash-only aesthetic service and will not do it through insurance because, in his words, the insurance reimbursement “isn’t worth it” compared to what they make from cash-paying cosmetic clients. I explained that my insurance already approved this treatment, but he still refused and referred me elsewhere. This was extremely misleading — I was told they could provide the service, only to find out they had no intention of doing so because it wasn’t financially beneficial for them. When I requested a refund for the consultation, they refused, even though I was misled from the start. This office clearly prioritizes profit over patient care, turning away someone in pain because the insurance payment wasn’t “worth it” to them. I would strongly recommend going elsewhere if you’re seeking honest, patient-focused care.
COMPARED TO MY LAST PAIN DOCTOR, ADVANCED PAIN HAS TRULY HELPED ME SO MUICH
Always enjoy my visits with the staff. Friendly happy and always willing to listen . Meredith is one of my favorites! Thank you for taking care of me .
I've always felt like they listen to me and have helped me have a better quality of life with less pain. They are not magic so they don't get rid of all the pain but they definitely make it where it is tolerable.
Great people, good doctors
Ignorant Dr never shows up repeatedly and makes patients wait in a packed waiting room for hours. Your time is not more important than mine. If u want to sleep in then schedule your office accordingly!
I was seen at Childrens Pain Management as an adolescent and was looking for an adult pain management group to continue care. This doctor took no time with me, wouldn’t offer any form of help I received in the past and completely blew me off. This doctor treated me like some kid who was making things up or just looking for drugs. Needless to say, I am EXTREMELY disappointed and will never be going back and will never recommend this unprofessional practice to anyone.
Staff was friendly and efficient. Eric (PA)took time to explain procedures, medications, side effects and pain-relief expectations.
I have been going her for 3 months now. They have not been able to control or even help relieve my pain. They seem more concerned with my secondary pain. Something they can operate on and make more money. They will only prescribe extended relief medicine that does not help cronic pain.
Terrible experience with everyone involved with my care.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
