I’ve been going to this eye doctor for many years. Every time I’ve been there it’s usually a good experience. I call to make myself an eye exam appointment and they tell me they no longer take my insurance. Lovely, all those years with a do it gone.

They cancelled/changed my contact lens trials multiple times without notifying me which resulted in a series of delays in ordering my contacts. They charge a $50 contact lens fitting fee which they do not tell you about up front - it's not covered by most insurance policies. They also do not reliably open the store at the time listed online.

It was the only place that would accept my health insurance and they have a variety of glasses. I picked out frames for only $20 and all i had to do was pay $89 for everything. The optometrist was really nice and so was receptionist

I absolutely recommend this office. Although it is small, the people are extremely nice and take care of you very well! Very professional. Wonderful, Dr! Great receptionist, highly recommend!

I had an appointment with Dr. Shestack and it was far and away the best eye exam I've had. Dr. Shestack was thorough and personable, and even recommended a new daily contact lens that fits my eyes much better and has improved my vision.

I have been going to The Eye Gallery in Mt. Lebanon for about 4 years now mostly out of convenience. And now I'm done!! Done with the rudeness of not only the front desk but now with the owner Scott as well! Sometimes no matter how good the doctor is it doesn't out weigh the inefficiency and disrespect experienced with the rest of the staff. After experiencing what I did with the owner, I'm not surprised. Do yourself a favor and move on!!
