Frequently call and get a busy signal. How is that possible? Staff, Doctors are great. Wish they would resolve the issue of answering their phones.
Unorganized and rude. I wouldn’t recommend.
I do not recommend this practice to anyone. They only operate fine for well visits and daycare forms but when your kids really needs the care they absolutely fail. Every time I talk to the nurses about my sick kid, there only response is to take him to the urgent care/ER. I am never seen a practice so irresponsible towards their patients with no sense of urgency and absolutely no empathy. My kids need their pcp when they are sick and not for regular well visits. I cannot emphasis more on how many times I have put the phone down with teary eyes and disappointment because they simple say take the kid to ER. I strongly do not recommend this practice. I have been with them for past 7 years and day by day they have stared to fail themselves. The only good thing this practice has is Dr G.
I took my daughter here a couple years ago for “2 shots” we went there and the wait was a freaking hour! One of the nurses came out and took her blood pressure and whatever they need to do but at the end for the “ 2 shots” they pulled out 6 shots and held her down and put 6 shots into her
I have been going to this practice since the birth of my 1st child who is now 14 yrs old (I have 3 kids all together) and I have just pulled all three from this practice. The first 12 years I could not say enough good about this practice and would recommend them to new and seasoned parents. The past 2 years have been HORRIBLE!! No matter what time of day you call in the phones are busy it takes at least a half day of calling constantly to finally get a ringing phone. There are countless miscommunications and they try to flip it on you. The only saving grace to this practice is Dr. Gotliewicz. If he would open his own practice my kids would be the first appointment. Thank you for your years of service Dr. G, we will miss you.
I had three children at this practice all from birth (my oldest is 14 years old) and I would do nothing but rave about this office. I recommended many new and seasoned parents to this practice. Jump to now, the practice is HORRIBLE!! No matter what time of day the phone is busy...what Dr.'s office do you call and the phone line is busy constantly. Good thing I never had an emergency. There is VERY poor communication and they try to flip it on you. I pulled all three kids out of this practice after two years of dealing with numerous hiccups with appointments, referals and unavailibilty. There only excuse is they have become busy since the pandemic. My advice: get more phone lines and a new staff. Dr. Gotkiewicz is the only saving grace of this practice and if he would move out of that office and open his own I would be the first person to get an appointment for all of my kids. Thank you for all of your years of service Dr. G, you will be missed.
Still on hold and haven't been here yet but if the other people that work her are anything like the lady that answers the phone when you first call I'm scared. She was soooooo rude! I will say something if they answer the phone.
The Doctors are fantastic here ! Very experienced and easy to talk to. My child is in good care
I would not recommend Community Pediatrics of Mt Lebanon to parents who need healthcare providers for their children. They are good for daycare forms and factory-style scheduled appointments, but no good at all if your child is experiencing a health problem. The on-call nurses regularly take hours to call back and give unhelpful advice, and the nurses dismiss questions with “just go to the ER,” as if that’s an easy decision to make. The experience there makes me feel that our family is a number and a nuisance, and not individuals who sometimes need their care.
both of my daughters were here for about a year until we left because the doctor, RN, and MA pressured us to get a test done where they put the instrument far down your throat. my daughter has severe anxiety and they know this since we were patients there and came regularly. I refused the treatment BUT DESPITE my refusal for my daughter to get it done, they came in the room and held down my daughter and forced her to get the test done, she was screaming and crying hysterically. I honestly cant believe this incident would ever have taken place. They didn't treat my daughter like a "child" they had no compassion, no hand holding, nothing like a caring compassionate, nurse is taught. what about patient autonomy or the autonomy of a parent of a minor? anytime we go to Childrens Hospital CHP the staff all around are AMAZING nothing like CCP Mt Lebanon's office. when this incident occured, I immediately yelled to stop and left the office right then and there as soon as they were done because this was so wrong and my daughter now 3 years later is traumatized. please dont ever send your children, they dont care about your children, their feelings, or any decision you make, they talk to you like you're incompetent and still go ahead with their "care plan" which they dont include you in on making it or even consider your thoughts or feelings. the nurses and Medical Assistants here have absolutely no bedside manner at all and no compassion for their patients. Now that my kids have been going to another pediatric office, I see that the problem really was the staff at CCP mt lebanon, not me, not my kids. Because now I can finally be at peace knowing my children are in good care with nurses and staff who actually care about them not only as patients, but as humans. the staff at this office really need to do some training and honestly the nurses shouldnt even be in their position having absolutely no bedside manner.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
