DO NOT GO HERE ‼️ Back in 2017 I was misdiagnosed, completely lied to & treated like actual garbage by Dr.Ron. I ended up getting sepsis and transferred myself after a long fight with him, to Geisinger in Danville. Fast forward to today March of 2023. I go in to get my blood pressure checked and for my baby to be monitored. My doctor starts asking me questions “how do you know your blood pressures high?” “Well you’re pregnant that’s normal you know?”. Meanwhile I can’t sleep. I can’t breathe. My blood pressure was 156/111. I spent the summer taking 10 mile hikes. This is NOT normal. He then proceeds to ask me about my children…. Saying I was a young mother. Calling me young lady. Just being disrespectful and unprofessional. AND THEN IT ALL CLICKED. This was the doctor who almost killed me when I was pregnant with my first child in 2017. I did not remember his face because I was on the verge of death, but when the nurse came in and said my doctor was Ron…. It sunk in. A whole different doctors name was written on my board. I then proceeded to ask for him to not enter my room. The nurse says okay and leaves. The door opens, no knock. And it’s Dr. Ron standing there “what’s the issue young lady?”. I asked for a different doctor politely and he goes “oh okay” and stares at me blankly for about two minutes. He then leaves without fully shutting my door and peeps in twice. I ask the nurses for my discharge papers, 20-30 minutes pass and my concerns are ignored. My heart rate was 135 after I found that out. Machine beeping nonstop. None of the nurses cared. I took my BP cuff, heart monitor cords & IV out and walked right out of there. NEVER AGAIN WILL I TRUST YOUR STAFF. You are unprofessional, rude, ill mannered and liars. I WILL be reporting this and I will not live this down until Dr. Ron is fired and your entire staff gets reevaluated.
I have nothing but positive things to say about the staff in the ED department. Have been admitted three times in three months. Twice with Diverticulitis and then transferred with heart attack. The nurses and physicians were prompt, kind, and and attentive. Thank-you for your professionalism and empathy UPMC Muncy!
My father passed away here and all I can say is the staff on all 3 shifts on the 2nd floor did a caring, and outstanding job showing empathy but not overdone. I will not forget this act of kindness neither will my family.

not enough doctor on 3rd and sat here for 4 hours with a child in extreme pain 😢 get it together muncy
This was the experience of my cousin who is too sick to type this, but I have no problem doing so. Our problem is with your hospital staff, particularly Judy and Sara! He was obviously racially profiled! "I arrived to the hospital around 8:30 PM on 1/19/22. When I arrived to the hospital there were only 8 people in the waiting area. I was running a high temp, so I was instructed to wait in the foyer of the hospital. Within an hour all of the patients that were in the waiting room ,when I arrived, had been seen and discharged. There were 3 other people that came in after me, and we all had the same symptoms. I, along with another person of color, were the only people made to wait in the foyer of the hospital. After waiting until 11:30, Everyone had been seen and discharged except me and the other person in the foyer. We ended up driving to another hospital!" After doing some digging of my own, I learned that the lady, Judy, that he was referring to was previously fired from a daycare for telling a small black child that he was probably crying excessively because his mother was an addict! Is this the type of treatment that goes on in your hospital?
Went there a month ago with chest pains they kept me for 3 days and said I had a cardiac event. Went back with the same pain 2 weeks later and they said it was inflammation of cartridge by my ribs. They gave me ibuprofen And sent me home. Went back 2 days later with the same pain but it was getting worse. Say there for 8 hours in a chair in the hallway. The nurse gave me mylanta and said it was gas. Never seen the dr in the 8 hours I sat in the chair. I signed myself out and went to Williamsport er and with in 3 hours I was having an emergency surgery to take my gallbladder bladder out. They said if I had waited another day to be reseen I would have been taken by ambulance because it was about to rupture. Worse experience ever. But I must say the receptionist Harley was the best and tried to help me any way he could. He was the most professional person in that place loved him
absolutely ridiculous. i’ve been waiting for an hour and a half, only one person got called back and no one is sick. (edit: waited over 2 hours with only 4 people in front of me in line. i recommend the ER jersey shore) some lady is here for a “booboo on her daughter’s finger” and full on kissing her daughter on the lips and they both refuse to wear masks and the workers do nothing. i’m shaking and got sent here specifically because it was too severe to treat at the doctors. no one seems to know the definition of the word emergency anymore and the workers are nothing but rude. however, the supervisor (who happened to be my doctor as well) was super good at her job. the other doctors couldn’t be bothered to even come plug in the IV stand and monitors when they were rapidly beeping for 20 minutes because they were dying.
I was in same day surgery on September 10, 2021 from the the lady Who registered me to the nurses that got me ready for before my procedure to the nurse who took care of me while I was waiting to go in for my procedure who saw that I was panicking and was ready to bolt came talked to me I have had some very bad experiences in hospital and been treated poorly But these women treated me with respect an understood that with fibromyalgia that my skin is very tender no one in the medical profession has ever treated me so kindly with respect an understanding u the nurses r Incredible thank you so much for your understanding and compassion
I too am giving just one star to be able to post a review. My complaint is not about the care but the unbelievable cost of the care. I am being charged over $1600 for an Aquity level 4 which is the level normally assigned for compound fractures and lacerations. I went to the ER for a urinary track infection while in PA during COVID as no other doctor would see me as I was from out of state. I am being told because they wrote, not filled 2 prescriptions and performed a urinalysis that fits the criteria for level 4. I was also told by Andrea in customer service that she would not provide me with a written copy of the hospital’s Acuity level definitions. So at this point, since it had been reviewed and my claim denied if I do not pay the bill in full it will be turned over to collections. Thankfully my insurance company is now involved and also feels the hospital Acuity level 4 is inappropriate they are working on my behalf So glad this hospital showed so much empathy and compassion to someone seeking medical care during the pandemic. They should be so proud of themselves.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
