I had an appointment with Dr Narula today in PA regarding certain cardiology issues I’ve been ignoring, both deliberately and due to covid. He’s thorough, reassuring, patient and of course, highly-trained and knowledgeable. I’ve been to cardiologists before who tend to raise my blood pressure, and that’s not a good thing. This guy was to inspect my cath incision and discharge me on his morning hospital rounds. He showed up at 12:07 pm . Didn't know if I had any other blockages. Told me give him 5 or 10 minutes and he'd let me know after looking at my records. 30 minutes later I went looking for him. He had left the floor without telling me any thing further. Tired of waiting, I asked for my discharge papers. The nurse informed me she had been trying to print them but Dr. Narula was some where in the hospital and had the records locked up. I finally got the papers and left without seeing him again around 1:30 in the afternoon. He was late, he was uninformed,nothing about him impressed me .

Saw Dr. Narula on Feb 5, 2018. He was recommended to me by my former Cardiologist of more than 5 years. After seeing him he had a lot of the same manners as the previous Dr. and took the time to listen to me and see what my previous Dr. had done as well as the future plans for my care. I will be going back to him as he is a Younger Dr. and more likely to be up on the latest practices for modern Medicine.
