Dr Wingate has spent an enormous amount of time maintaining traditional credentials and expertise (former Penn faculty, still teaches there) but has also studied integrative medicine. She was careful to attend to my particular needs and not "push" approaches that I might not be comfortable with. However, I loved she knows meditation techniques and alternative supplements that can augment or diminish the need for tradition psychiatric meds. She has a sense of humor but also real caring.
