List of Barry Oppenheim's Reviews
As a previous reviewer mentioned, they only accept cash or check. This makes using an hsa rather annoying compared to pretty much any other facility, and it's certainly not worth overlooking for the level of care provided. The doctor was curt with my son and simply doesn't seem well suited for working with children.
The front desk was not very nice. I was never informed that they do NOT take cards, only cash or check. When I told the receptionist that she told me that's why they say to go to the website, it's on there. So instead of saying a few quick words, we don't accept cards only cash/check, you tell people to go check out the website and hope that they see that you don't accept cards?! That seems very silly. The doctor seemed like he was in a rush. He didn't inform me or my child they were getting dilated, he just did it. He corrected my other child for stand next to me instead of the other side of the room, twice. It didn't matter where they stood, they were not in his way at all and they were not getting their eyes checked. We will not be going back and would not recommend.
I have gone to Dr. O for a few years now. My children have seen him for both routine eye exams and my youngest had surgery as an infant with him. As the years have progressed, Dr. O’s care has deteriorated. So much so that at our last appointment a few weeks ago both of my kids commented that he was mean to them and made them feel unwanted as patients. He is incredibly impatient and arrogant towards kids. He seems burned out.
Excellent clinical skills and handling children and infants making the family feel at ease.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
