List of Craig J. Mcmackin's Reviews
Dr. Macken insists that I research medications and understand all of their potential side effects so he doesn't have to discuss the risks and benefits with me. He charged myself and my insurance company for a full OV when I did not 'do my research', and ended the visit immediately. He doesn't know I don't have a computer or internet access. I have to use a public access computer which interferes with my re-cooperation time from another medical problem. He doesn't appear to accept usual and customary responsibility of a physician to advise within his medical specialty and educate patient.
Very professional but very caring.
On April 2, 2018, I went to St. Mary's emergency room because of chest tightness. All checked out ok and info sent to McMakin. Told I would hear from him and if not to call. Still have not heard (April 6) in spite of repeated. calls. His nurse says she informed hin April 2. Very difficult to communicate with office. Usually voice mail and long waits for calls to go through.
Young Super Smart Doctor. Follows through with his concerns and questions. Very concerns about a healthy heart with his patients not only a all around superb but a great bedside manner.
Kind, compassionate, and thorough.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
