I just experienced probably one of the most painful life episodes. The loss of my mother.She was admitted to curahealth with severe pneumonia after having covid-19. We were referred to this facility by a family member who was a PA and practiced there.From the moment I walked into the facility I felt at ease. It was clean and bright and full of friendly staff. My mother was a nurse and so am I so I know how stressful healthcare is especially during these times. My Mother after struggling to get well had enough and wanted no further treatment. Her prognosis was poor, she knew it and so did we. The only thing she wanted and we insisted was that she was made comfortable. She was on 6th floor Room 611. I was truly amazed at the care she received. The understanding and sympathetic staff made this journey somewhat easier. Every single staff on that floor, supervisors, nurses, Resp. Staff, Kitchen staff , housekeeping , pharmacist and all the physicians,professionalism at its finest. I m actually a RN from west coast and wanted to be a part of this special staff.I was very close to my mother and will always be grateful for her wonderful treatment there. Thank you all!
