List of St. Lukes Palisades Family Practice's Reviews
Place has gone down hill since doctor joe isn’t in there office staff doesn’t relay messages or the doctors in charge just don’t get back to you or they just cancel on you and when they send you to a specialist they don’t have appointments for months it’s not about the care anymore it’s about money I would give it no stars if I could
I have been a patient here for over 6 years and have had a positive experience all around. Everyone is very pleasant and I feel extremely comfortable with the providers I have seen over the course of 6 years. I'm glad I found a place I feel cares about me as a patient.
New patient, fast getting an appointment. Friendly and professional staff. Highly recommend
While i like Dr Kotz, the way this office is ran is continuously getting worse. I have never had an appointment go on time and consider yourself lucky if you are seen 30 min after your scheduled appointment, even if it is literally the first appointment of the day. on average it is about an hour. what is causing me to write this review now is I am calling at 8 AM when they open on a Friday, and there are 30 people ahead of me on the phone call list. this is absolutely unheard of!!
This office is a disgrace anymore. My daughter is sick, called Wednesday morning and was told she could not be seen until SATURDAY!!! I called back on Thursday to ask for a script so she could get a covid test. Was told that no doctors were in today so no one would be able to write a script until Friday! Seriously?
This practice refuses to do peer to peer’s for imaging studies for their patients when they have failure in their clinical documentation. They would rather patients suffer than have the necessary care that they need. I do not recommend.
it took me 4 days calling multi times a day and being put on hold fro 8 min to 10 and nobody picked up. then when i went to the doctors i had to wait 0ne hour and 10 min past my time before they even brought me into the room.
I recently decided to switch to this practice. I have 3 sons. I called and was told I could not just schedule their physicals. I was told I had to schedule a new patient visit before they could be seen for a physical. I scheduled the appointments and asked again why we could not just have their physicals done that day and was told their policy requires a new patient visit first. I received one bill via email and paid it thinking it was for all 3 of my sons. I then received 3 bills in the mail. Two were for $155.05, my insurance paid $19.95 on then and a third bill for my middle son for $175. I was given a complete run around by Palisades family practice and St. Luke’s billing as to why one bill was different. I called repeatedly. Today I called again and after I was told the Office Manager would get back to me right away, she did not. I called and the receptionist told me she called me back. I told her I had my phone on me and I never received a call. She told me then that maybe she did not call because she was busy. I insisted on speaking with the Office Manager who then yelled at me for harassing her staff. She told me she looked at the bill and the only difference is my one son has glasses. So for a new patient consult where the Dr. asked me when he was due for his next eye exam I was charged extra. She then asked why I did not schedule the physical with the initial appt and I told her that I was told repeatedly that I was required a new patient visit. She said that was not true and that she has newer staff and she did not have time to train them on everything. So because she did not train her staff I am now going to be out almost $500 for new patient visits and she said Yes! This is theft by deception. I see I am not the only one they have done this to. I am filing a written complaint. *It took a few months but St. Luke’s took care of the additional bills I received. This goes to prove this practice fraudulently billed me. I appreciate that St. Luke’s made the situation right. I unfortunately paid one of the bills already and will not get that money back.*
Since year, St. Luke's Palisades Family Practice has been so kind and caring to my dad and always tries to find a way to help my dad in his needs weather it's prescribing him antibiotics to referring him to other places to further the process of his condition. My dad is so happy to have St. Luke's so close to home for "minor" conditions and that they help so much from the secretary to doctor. We all just want to say, Thank You.
Was there and dr joseph O'Neill and he was the best doctor ever

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
